Not even looking forward to this. I'd rather have a release of Final Fantasy Versus XIII that this junk. The only thing that kept FFXIII popular in the first place was because it was a Final Fantasy. It never deserved a sequel in the first place so I don't understand why they would make a third one. It's going to be more hype than anything else, even if they do try and improve gameplay. The first Final Fantasy XIII seemed pretty closed ended and the second was similar to FFX-2 with the whole "searching for a loved one" concept. This one is just going to be over-the-top retarded.

Well title is dreadful... FF13-3 Lightning Returns? Hope that isn't title..

Isn't story about the planet having 13 days til destruction? If its not related to 13-2 that would be depressing but I'm a huge lightning fan. Lol.

I loved XIII and XIII-2 but this is plain stupid.

XIII-4 for 2014/2015......

I'd be great if Square Enix did a remake of FF7 instead of FFXIII-3 because just imagine how much money they would make and even how many new fans the franchise will get. I heard they won't make a remake for FF7 until they create a better game then that. Regardless, I'm interested to see how FFXIII-3 will turn out.

The thing I notice with Final Fantasy "-2" titles is that they basically use the same engine as the original game to make a sequel. So I think Lightning Returns is S-E just trying to milk all they can out of this engine before they have to start from scratch again. I mean, it takes less time to make the game, less people working on it and since the game already built up a fanbase that'll eat up whatever's thrown at them, then why not?

I'm probably gonna buy this game too, even though I know it's going to be crap. I wouldn't be able to talk grozit about a game I haven't played though, so there's the majority of my reason. There's also a chance it might be a "Xenosaga Ep 3" where the last game was the best, but I highly doubt that because Xenosaga was actually planned out from the beginning whereas the sequel to XIII was just... ugh.
