I'd figure this would be better than starting blogs. The latest news is VY2v3's design has been revealed.

If you're unfamiliar with VY2v3 he's VY2 (RoRo/Yuuma) getting updated to Vocaloid 3, hence the v3 in the end of his name. He's one of two Japanese Vocaloids (the other VY1) without official avatars (kind of), he doesn't have one because he's aimed at professional producers. Yuuma is his code name and RoRo is a semi-official interpretation of VY2 (you can see RoRo in the video below). Anyways here's VY2 singing in with his RoRo design, note, this isn't VY2v3, they haven't released a demo for him yet.

VY2V3 was announced a while back with a release date of October 19th, 2012. He will come with a falsetto voicebank (squee!), here is his first demo with VY1V3, this two VOCALOIDs have proven once again how far VOCALOID can be pushed to sound human.

Here's something a few of you might find interesting, it's about KAITO's append and his English, and a new Hatsune Miku english demo. Be warned though, the quality is bad because it was recorded with a video.







They're expecting a release for English Hatsune Miku in Spring 2013 (just like how they were expecting her release in Spring 2012...). Crypton has also noted KAITO English will be released before Hatsune Miku English. My guess is on his original birthday, so probably February 14-17th, but don't take my word on it.

EDIT: For any of you that knew Crypton was planning another male VOCALOID, CV04, it seems he was cancelled as Crypton said something along the lines that they're not working on anything new besides the English voicebanks for their currently released VOCALOIDs and their upgrades.

Well their English sounds bad because of mainly two reasons, first, the Japanese accent since their voice providers aren't fluent in English and second, Crypton is primarily a Japanese company and it's only their 2nd & 3rd English voicebanks so they don't have much experience with making them.

Good news, everyone! Suzune Ring got a new demo! Maybe she isn't cancelled, thanks goodness! <3



Along with Ring receiving a new demo, VY2V3/Yuuma/66(RoRo) received a new demo as well! I believe his new falsetto bank is also in here (I haven't heard it yet, can't listen to it in school I'm dying inside).

New VOCALOID MAYU (from EXIT TUNES, yes, EXIT TUNES) is slated for release on December 5th, 2012. She's going to get two CDs with her release, here are a least of extremely popular producers that are making songs for her.

It's been a while since I posted news but I wanted to wait until I had a good chunk of it to post.

New MAYU demo, the artist is Mikito-P who made 1, 2 Fanclub & that other famous Hatsune Miku song, I forgot the name (I never remember romaji names)...



And something really nice has happened recently, the new English VOCALOID3, Avanna, has had her design revealed and has a preview of her voice (I won't be posting the preview because it was recorded live and has bad quality, I don't want you guys to judge her based on that, if you want the link though feel free to PM me). Anyway, without further a do, here is her design, remember, she's Celtic inspired.

Avanna is an 18 year old Irish girl that is 5'6" and weighs 156 (I weigh lower than her...). Apparently her rings also spin when she sings.
