Noir - Canta per me

This lyric currently has a passage that is completely misunderstood (probably due to the heavy accent of the singer). The transcription is:

a noi si schiude il ciel
volano al raggio

This doesn't make any sense, as the current translator notes - al raggio (to the ray) is nonsensical.

The actual transcription should be "volano al agio" - which can be translated "fly to your rest." This actually makes sense with the rest of the song.

But the official lyrics seem to suggest that it is indeed "volano al raggio".

The Japanese translation given on that same page has

リラを奏で、死の聖歌を歌っておくれ
天は開き、私達は光の中へ飛び去ろう

which roughly translated into:

Play your lyre and sing for me a hymn of death.
As the heavens open up, let's fly into that light.


Basically, the two of them will die and ascend to heaven shrouded in the holy light. I think it makes sense to me. Unless you can provide a reputable source that says it should be agio instead of raggio, I'm afraid your correction can't be accepted.

Yeah, I think there's a certain number of songs from well-known older series that have not-so-great translations sticking around through inertia, probably. (And now I sort of want to watch Noir again.)

Are there no diacritics in the translit? It's Italian so there should be...
