It's still Itachi. It always seemed like he was on top of the ball, even when none of us knew what the ball was. His use of genjutsu is at a level we've yet to see, and more than likely will not see again. Simply put, an amazing ninja that even a Sannin (Orochimaru) admitted was too powerful for him.

And it's also because Itachi has amazing skills and he is a great brother to Sasuke. While Gaara is powerful (but sadly his powers were taken away) and he cares for his people now that he's a Kazekage.

Putting his hotness aside lol Itachi is definetely one of my fav characters, love how he is both strong and cold but at the same time emotive, with a huge determination and a great and intense life story behind.
I also love Naruto, Ichigo (Bleach), Natsu (Fairy Tail) and Tsuna (Katekyo Hitman Reborn) - basically for the same reasons: for being strong and never giving up fighting for their friends.

But Luffy from One Piece would be my fav character
