Is Clannad a good show?

I am currently watching Haibane Renmei and need a show to watch next since Haibane is going pretty fast (on episode 9 out of 13 and i started yesterday) I am considering Clannad since everybody seems to love that show. I'm not quite sure what it is about though. Also how do most of you watch it? I noticed it is not on Netflix (Clannad After Story is but im assuming that is a sequel series).

Clannad and Clannad After Story are still my favorite so far. They are an emotional rollercoaster, but well worth it.

i hear many many many good things about it. so its gotta be a good show. But i haven't been able to get into it for some reason. I have no clue why. But i say that yes, it is a good show. just not quite my personal coup of tea.

In my opinion clannad is worth the watch but it's not on my top ten. However it is good enough to be called a good show.

Both the Clannad movie, series and the after story are worth to watch if you are into romance animes with school enviroment. I personally prefered the movie over the series (even though the movie's artistic quallity is worst). Probably because I saw it before of the series. ^^
Also I bet you're going to love Sunohara. He always put a comedy taste into the anime ever he appears.

You are.Well,that is like asking if anime rocks,or that we are on an anime forum.There is one word to describe Clannad.Masterpiece.My writing may seem calm now,but in real life I am freaking out that someone needs to ask this.(Sorry if this came off rude,but Clannad is a masterpiece!I feel really strongly about this.It changed my life.It really did.)

After you finish Clannad,watch Clannad After Story.It is even better in my opnion.

Because when I start a series I have to watch EVERYTHING in that series (It is a OCD rule of mine) So, because of this I must ask when is the appropriate time to watch the Kyou chapter and the Tomoyo chapter. Also, when should I watch the movie? After the first series, or after the after story?

Clannad is not a good show though, it's a God-tier show. Don't question it....just watch it.

I've just finished watching it and I would say that is a nice anime. It didn't make me cry, but it was depressing at parts! I liked the comedy element to it the most...some scenes would literally make me ROFL. *cough* And a toilet cover! *cough*

You definitely need to watch both seasons. Without it somethings do not come full circle.

+1 to watching it. The first time around it was finished in a 24hr period. Yes all 44 episodes.

if you like clannad then try angel beats,kanon,air or k-on they are made by the same predocer as clannad

The movie is something I would not recommend seeing first only because it does not include what takes place really in season 2 so the ending is very sad.

As for the anime series clannad is amazing
