Looking For Wallpapers

So I have a new laptop, and I am looking for anime wallpapers for it, but the problem is, that it's 1280x768, which is a less then standard res ^_^; So I was wondering, if anyone here has any anime walls that are in that sort of a wide-screen resolution?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I've resorted to cropping existing walls.

heh ty ^_^;; tried google already also, squat sadly. i ended up cropping a bunch of things in photoshop, but would be nicer for stuff pre-made for the res ^_^'

if you go on altavista you can search (nat in the image category) a particular size of wallpapers

it's a laptop with a widescreen O_o;; changing to a standard res means there are thick black lines across both sides of the screen (think of playing a widesceen dvd on a normal monitor, only these lines are vertical, and not horizontal).

Just use the larger wallpapers. Any operating system worth its salt should be able to cleanly scale the image down to the lower resolution for you.

the problem isn't in scaling, it's in aspect ratio. a 1600x1200 wall can be put into the 1280x768, but it'll be squashed, because when you shrink down, the scale should be 1280x960, similarly a 1024x768 can be streched up without problems. but it would expect to be 1280x1024, squashing it again.

you could also request some walls you know and made by us that could be resized

Heh ah ty ^_^;;; and thanks cyberhunter, thats a cool wall, I've always been partial to naruto.

hm O_o; if someone could make some dark tinted walls (laptop screens seem to look better with darker, as opposed to brighter colors) from stellvia, naruto, or most any other show really, it'd be great ^_^;
