Mr. Popo... how strong is he?

Okay, it's only a theory but I suspect that "Kami" or Dende were just front men and that Mr. popo is the real god. Why? Because I've seen him fight Trunks and Goten as Super Saiyans and walk away laughing.

Don't think it's power with Popo. It's discipline and focus. If you watch Dragon Ball, it's what he taught Goku. He probably merely redirected their attacks. Goten and Trunks aren't exactly disciplined. Then again, DBZ isn't very consistent when it comes to power.

Okay do the math with me. In that scene MR. Popo held off the two boys, took hard hits from them, and walked away as if nothing else happened.

Those same two boys who fought and almost defeated Android 18 while riding on each other's shoulders.

Android 18 beat the crap out of future trunks, piccolo and most of the other Z warriors. (And who is also really hot,b ut since she'd kill me for saying so... moving on...)

Future Trunks beat Frieza in 3 seconds... before he trained up to fight the androids.

Frieza who could destroy planets in between 3 seconds and 15 episodes (man Namek held on for a LOOOONG time) and who made King Kai wet himself.


So again, unless he's pretending he's not god and trying to keep a low profile, why the hell couldn't Mr. popo figh Vegeta, Evil King Piccolo, Garlic Jr. Etc?

You could take it quite literally. Since the fictional character "god" is in all religions all powerful, and perfect and whatnot. Yet rather than fix problems in the world, he sits on his a** and does nothing.

That is one very valid argument you present here sir Clayton, unfortunately I wouldn't exactly have a direct response but rather multiple rebuttals and thoughts as to why he couldn't fight along with Goku and much so everyone else. However here's two pieces I would like to display. Popo was never seen fighting(mentioned before), never seen making an attack or throwing a ki blast(Not 100% sure on this one), he's just a being with a higher power level, not a master at fighting. The only thing he was ever showed doing that was "mind-blowing" was when he absorbed Goku's Kamehameha when he reached the Kami's place and Popo did not get much page time in dragon ball nor was he used in the anime very often either but he still held a great strength.... He is immortal and he has not aged over the years that he has been with the gods.... he fought goku when he was young and could beat him with his eyes closed... he was testing goku but he never showed anger... he has never shown anger... he just represses it i believe that if popo actually fought he would not be weak... like kame said "we have our reasons" that is not to fight... meaning that popo could have defeated the evil piccolo and almost every other sayian with his life span he would have grown to a great power. There for repression and non-motivation to fight would be the key factors but I may make a guess that he would be considered almost as powerful as goku.
