thats a sentiment i'm forced to disagree with. Not all countries are winners. Some are losers. If everyone is a wanner, then winning loses all meaning. You can't have one without the other. You can't have joy without sorrow. Cant have Special without average. And you can't have winners without losers.

Yeah I remember seeing an American pair having poor synchronization but getting a higher score than the pairs with better synchronization. Weird scores from judges. Then again I'm no synchronized diving expert

Must have been the second American pair or the same ones early on, because when I watched they were spot on almost as much as the Chinese. And the some of the last few scores from the Canadians were higher than the Americans, yet they were completely off unlike the Americans.
