Favorite Thing You Own?

Either one of my vehicles or this carrousel I have.

Both my '65 mustang and '94 F-150 truck I inherited from my grandfather. I love them both. I can't see them but I don't want to let them go. They are the last few remnants I have of when my life was prefect. Going out to weekend races, driving down the drag strip for the first time and feeling the adrenaline rush. Cruising around town just doing errands. All of it was fun.

Then I have this jewel carrousel I love. It was on the expensive side.. but I saw it in a store when I was much younger and I just HAD to have it so my grandfather bought it. I love carrousels and I'll probably ask you to ride it with me if we're anywhere that has a carrousel. Though I do not ride the ones at malls or fairs.

In complete and total honesty, my favourite thing that I own is my chapstick. I never leave the house without it.

My favorite thing that I own is my Pikachu plush backpack. I had it for years and it is basically a piece of my childhood since I was a big Pokemon fan when I was about 3 or 4 years old. I loved it so much that I would never leave it on the floor or even take it outside because I was so afraid of getting it dirty. I love it to death and I would never let anything bad happen to it.

My dirtbike. Sue me for being materialistic, but I'd never part with it unless it got smashed beyond repair. I got it as a gift when I was 15. I've probably spend around $1500-2000 for customizing and repair costs since then. Haven't had any fun with it in at least 6 months though. Gotta change that.

Yep, your first electric is something to treasure, though mine is only 5 or 6 years old and for about three years before that I had a mouldy 3/4 acoustic that had seen it's fair share of abuse but since he has long since passed on my electric has got to be one of the most important things to me. It's tasted blood from three or four people, been beaten to pulp and had to be repaired many a time but I seriously love my guitar.

Hmm so hard to pick out my favorite thing I own. I'd probably have to say my house first, except that the bank currently owns it and it will be many years before I truly do. Plus, after living here for a few years I've decided I'm still on the hunt for my dream home, this isn't quite it. Want a rustic log home on a wooded property. So then maybe my truck? Perhaps my camera? Computer? Guess I don't think in terms of favorites about such things. Heck I take a lot of pride in picking out a beautiful porcelain enamelled wood stove to heat my house, and all the physical work that goes into operating it and keeping the place warm, and the money saved in propane. And as far as satisfaction from using, maybe I'd even throw my tractor or chainsaw into the mix, backpacking gear, or maybe my bow or favorite riffle. Sentimental wise there are lots of things from my childhood, I am kind of a packrat, but only a couple boxes worth, and maybe even an anime figure or book would make my most favorite sentimental list. Ehh, well I guess I'm very indecisive.
