Shards of severed suns are scatter
All across the view
A canyons scorching spire flare
Up from under you
I see you on your skull marked step
Your venom sword in hand
From your human throne you rise
Upon your minions stand
And I the knight from the east
Of this canyon wide
Stare across a challenge
With insult there implied
My armor bright and silvered
At least in my own eye
To match the dour tones
Of your howling cry
But then it fades and I return
My sanity restored
I stare at you a softening girl
Me without a sword
Did you see me, too, that time?
See me with armor black
Were you the silvered one
With the sunrise at your back?
But we just look aside
Cough and walk away
We can talk about this later
Always another day
