Me? I never skip them, even if the song is a shizzfest. Really don't feel like I watched the entire episode if I skip it, plus the intros always get me pretty pumped.
How about you? Skip them? Does it depend on the show or how much time you have?

Nonon Jakuzure - Best Kill la Kill baePretty damn great! #spoke2soonOta "The Cutest Otaku" 2016 - Lol, how's your account doing lately? Oh wait.
For me personally, if i find the opening doesn't set the mood or get me pumped up for the episode to come (depending on what kind of show it is) i just skip it.
example of that; for me personally the opening for the Berserk series, the song anyway, i didn't feel like set the mood properly so i skipped it.
Then something like the first season of Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni, the opening for that for me set the mood REALLY well for series (aside from maybe some episodes at start of each new arc) then i'd deffiently watch it.
But a opening i think is bad won't negatively effect my enjoyment of a show, but a opening i think is good enhances my enjoyment of said show.
Good topic!
I will skip the intro after i have watched it a few times. then when I recognize a new intro is being used Ill watch it once or twice and skip it from then on.
I liked the Deadman Wonderland so I watched it everytime. I skipped the Basilisk intro almost everytime.
I also agree that some intros do a better job at setting the tone for the show.
I usually skip them, but I will try to see each intro and outro atleast once out of respect.
If it's an intro I like, it's a nice addition to the start of every episode.
If I don't like it, I skip it, simple as that.
I usually skip the intro after I have watched it at least once or twice.
I'll watch it the first time, but I really hate to waste my time on the intros.
They are somewhat important, usually a good intro and ending would make the overall experience enjoyable.
I usually skip the intros cause i wanna get right to the show
I love hearing an opening song for an anime I watched AGES ago and getting heaps excited and nostalgic. Best example of that:
Sometimes for me, the intros to an anime will get me to watch the anime. I started watching Soul Eater this way, XD. I always watch the intro even it is boring to me but, the only thing I don't watch is the end credits, they don't interest me lol. I just skip past them.
I'll watch 'em at least once, but most times I'll just skip them afterwards. Same for ending credits as well.
I know violence isn't the answer. It's the question, and the answer is yes.
Agree. I always do that. No matter how weird and how I dislike it. I'd just let the video play and I'd do my stuff until the opening finishes. If it's nice, I'd fangirl over it. Opening's are quite important and quite intriguing. Like Another and Higurashi's opening, I'm still guessing the mystery behind it.
May peace bestow this world,
May our hearts unite.
Life may not be smooth as pearl,
But pray for our decisions to be always right.
Life may be hard, it's a big pain in the butt. But hey, who says behind all those pain, can't hide some happiness ?
If I like it a ton, I probably won't skip it unless I'm in a hurry.
But if I'm marathoning a show with a lot of episodes- say One Piece- I get tired of it quickly from seeing it every 24 minutes =w=
So then I skip it.
If I don't like an op much, I probably skip it or go do something while it plays.
I think that intros and endings are an important part of what makes an anime being an anime, I like a lot of them for the music, and I never skip them.
my brother always skip them but in some animes I discover that, after the ending that part of the chapter continues (FMA B) but my brother has already left the room.

Depends on the anime. Same for closings.
Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

I acctually don't like to watch them(on internet)...
but I usually do watch them... most of them have good music, so I can't skip them... it give a verry good start to any anime...
UnExpected....
Very very important. I mostly never skip an opening unless I have heard it over 50 times or I am limited on time and want to watch as many episodes as I can.
I also tend to rewatch all my favorite openings on youtube whenever I have some free time or I will listen to the music on my phone.
What I do tend to skip unless I really really like the song is the endings. I will listen to them at least once tho.
Some random favorite openings
Also just listening to the opening reminds me of everything from the anime. One last thing I also listen to a lot of openings from anime I have not seen since I really like them.
if the intro is good, it's important!!
