When did you start to watch anime?

when I was about 6-8? but I only starting watching it seriously this year

I think I was 7 or so, watching pokemon (dubbed in Dutch on, ehhhh, Fox Kids? Jetix? dunno anymore XD), not knowing it was anime (as if a 7 year old would know that ;P). About a year and a half ago some friends kept fangirling about something called "Vampire Knight", so after a while I gave up (I really didn't want to, it sounded weird and cheesy and reminded me of twilight) and read/watched it and loved it. So I really started around that time

Around 2009,when I started to learn more about the internet.

Well it started with pokemon, before I knew it was anime.
then one day, in probably late 2009 early 2010 ish, My friend hands me a volume of Vampire Knight. She always gives me great books to read so, not knowing what I was stepping into I read it. I finished it and gave it back to her the next day. Then she handed me the next Vampire Knight and a volume of FMA. What was probably a few weeks later I spent the night at her house. I stayed up all night watching FMA. Now anime is my drug of choice.

I started watching anime when I was 4. My first anime was Yu-gi-oh. I remember that I loved the style of the cartoon, but I never knew what it was called.
Then in the 4th grade, I found out about manga. I fell in love with manga. Then I started to get into more anime stuff.
