Oh please you two are looking too deep into it. Can't you tell it was something dumb that Hasbro thought it could pull by it's fans and get away with? Soon someone in the Transformers series (animation or comic books) will think back, remember it, and create a "OMG, Dinobot's alive!" story off of it.

You're right. I've got no reason (other than Scourge's planet) to believe a random anime character like Dinobot will one day rise from their apparent death... *Snicker*

In any case you have to admit Beast Wars has had an effect on the Transformers series that followed it. Take Transformers Cybertron and Scourge



Scorpinoc was in the movie



And Black Arachnia came back fro Transformers animated

Actually @Clayton_n , Though you are probably right on Beast Wars influence, I have to correct you on a couple of things.

Scorponok was in the Original Transformers first. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scorponok
