Anime look a likes

You'd be amazed how similar two different anime characters can be. How many look a likes can you find?

Ahahaha, not amazing at all realy. There's only so much you can do with an anime character to make him/her unique. In fact, if you remove the hair and block of everything below the neck, it would truly be a struggle to differintiate each of the characters

Like @Explorer Oak said, not really that much of a shock when you think about it. Such is the inclusiveness of anime that it's almost as if every kind of character one can think of has been covered. In fact, in all probability I think one would be more likely to accidently draw a lookalike subject than an original one in inventing a new anime character. Of course, lookalikes aren't as likely to share the same personality traits as those they appear to resemble as well, but that's another topic entirely.

On a side note: have you seen my drawings in my profile? A lot of viewers (not necessarily on AF though) have mistook many of the drawings for Pokemon when in fact there's only one drawing of such (a Raichu); the rest (which purposely resemble but are not derived from Pokemon) are actually of unique characters.

Of course, it would be just NOT NORMAL if there weren't any resemblances, it's nearly impossible that, which so many different animes, for authors to create a chacter that at least does not resemble a bit another one, so as it is impossible that two brothers don't have even the slitest similarity, but of course the most example you gave the funniest it is to see that

@Clayton_n Dude, how many of these are you going to make. And I debunked Amber and C.C. in your other thread. Not to mention that these characters look nothing alike. Not hard to spot differences in terms of physical features. You're grasping at straws that aren't there and I suggest that you stop.

I didn't think the comparisons in the OP are all that great. Off the top of my head I know 2 look alike couples and one couple that looks similar except for hair color but counters that with mirror personalities.

i counted about 6 true look-alikes, the rest weren't even close. the ones that were true look-alikes are to be expected, as has been stated before, there's only so much that can be done with anime characters. comparison between Bleach/Death Note characters and the one with Etna were laughable, as were 85% of the rest. you didn't really... try... with this post, did you?

Goku, but that obviously depends upon fanbase. They look nothing alike, but do share that one similarity.

Similar hair color, same hair style and same eye and face shape.

Rei, Kaoru and Oscar are women, Andre is a man
There are more characters who look alike in both works but most have different personalities
for example while Kaoru and Andre share similarities, Oscar and Rei are very different.
