I really don't like that lens flare effects.
Make some bright background like bluish one is better.
Making some kind of ninja scroll background also nice.
The main picture extract is to bad, or.... maybe you can make some kind of old letter border on that pic, that some kind of burning, is also better.

its just like my desktop except with a lens flare and some leaf sign on the border. except the taskbar would cover the bottom leaf sign and my winamp would cover the top leaf sign.
