So I just visited my old forum (not gonna mention which one).
And I was at the personal photo album thread with member photos in it.
Suddenly some fine looking girl dropped her photo there.
Then ALL the popular/snobby people started to post comments on it.
It literally sickened me. They were NEVER this nice to normal looking people.

And I'm not 'angry' or 'jealous' because they were nice to me before too.
Some of you actually know what I look like. I'd say I'm not ugly or anything.
Those popular/snobby people treated me like their club's darling til... I started to talk.
As you can predict now, they dropped me so hard because I wasn't 'awesome' enough.
I learned the difference between REAL nice people and people who fake it.

Have you ever experienced this superficial behaviour?
If so, what did you do?

For me, it's a lot harder to tell if someone's being superficial on the internet. I can spot it pretty well in the physical world but you can never be sure when it comes to the interwebs. Could it possibly have something to do with you being gone for so long? They probably consider you old news now and found a new club darling. Soon she will be recycled too unless they decide she's not good enough just like what happened with you. I wouldn't let it get to me if I were you. Their opinions don't really matter and what's most important is that you stay true to yourself in the end.

Nah ignore those barbaric and bad excuse for men. Real men wouldn't do something so stupid and it just seems that they can't get any in real life. Honestly looks are only skin deep. I've met plenty of great looking women who are just plain rude and annoying to be around with.. so don't you worry! I'm sure you're not ugly and this is why I've rarely looked at looks in women unless the girl is beastly(it would have to be severe like someone I know).. and I've always looked for the good in people. Stupid guys making others look bad.

I kind of dislike how society makes everything sound like a fairy tale nowadays. Looks ARE important , and those who say that what really matters is whats on the inside are wrong. Sure , being social ,nice, funny and charismatic is important , but so is looking good.

Another thing that annoys me about society nowadays is egalitarianism. Sure , we are all humans, we all bleed red. So what? Some people are better mentally , some are better physically and some have achieved more than most people. Those people can and should be considered better than others , and people who think that we are all humans, and thus we are all the same are just delusional.

Just my opinion , and sorry for the rant. If i sound disrespectful towards anyone i am sorry , for that is really not my intention.

I agree with you.

Looks are important to attract ppl in the first place, but they won't keep anyone around long if you don't have a good personality. If my partner was ugly I would not have given him the time of day, because a relationship can't work if you're not attracted to someone. But now that I KNOW him, I couldn't care less how he looks. And looks fade anyway, so although they play a part initially, respect, communication and friendship are what matter in the end.

And indeed some people are better than others. For example - I am better than ppl who steal, lie, cheat and generally have poor morals.

Basically meaning you thought you were hot stuff getting their attention and all seeing as how you yourself were above "normal people" with the extra attention of being their "darling"...... Then someone hotter than you comes along and suddenly you cry fowl and then take the side of the "normal people" who never even got special treatment like you have. If this was not the case you would've thrown a fit when they made you your darling and gave you more attention than the "normal" people. But instead it appears you liked being their darling and being above normal people until you were dethroned... Funny eh?

In the end you're just the same as that other girl... Only, tossed aside

I've been told I look good, but I don't think so/am not. With your particular story, I have no problems with people who are good-looking but are humble about it. And I guess the age-old philosophy applies here:

Most of you totally got it wrong. I even stated I wasn't jealous before.
Its just sickening how people can be so fake-nice to you.
I did feel bad after they all ditched me.
But that was because I felt like I lost some friends and NOT because she was prettier or w/e.

Ofcourse I have true friends (irl) and I've read in some comments I'm believing too much online.
Thats not the point at all.
Ofcourse I'm adult enough to understand you can't seriously befriend others like that.
I just don't like people wasting my time online. People that are nice at first, but turn out to be the worst.
Its the reason I actually don't trust people I just met online.

Well, it is natural to seek attention from attractive people, but ya, the fake friendship thing those kinda suck. Some people get so into it they even forget how to form decent friendships altogether, and those are the people constantly trying to get approval from the most popular person.
