Skype demos are fun ways for GFX members to socialize with each other and learn new tips and tricks hosted by Serated. This is a great free resource available to anyone regardless of skill. Basically each demo follows a basic pattern, we start off with any questions. This can range from "how do you use _____ tool" or "This looks cool, what steps were done to achieve it" Really the questions can be about anything. Then we gather and go over the answer to the question etc. We really just go with the flow. All you really need to do to participate is download skype

Crap, don't have Photoshop...

It's cool though, most of the stuff is similar in both programs, you should find out which functions do the same for GIMP... I plan to have another one for GIMP but it'll have to be later and I guess I'll have to use the program a while... While we do this you'll actually hands on get to use photoshop CS5. Which I believe both me and Seung have so you'll get a little practice with it too ^-^

Crap, don't have Photoshop...

Look for something called Gimpshop. While it's still Gimp it renames what it can to its Photoshop equivalent. Though you still have to get Gimp brushes and the like as it wont take Photoshop ones. Still handy though.

We'll be getting ready up to 20mins before starting so be sure to join. I'm estimating this will last about an hour and a half at the most. It really all depends. There wil be three days to choose from, you may attend one, two, or all three it doesn't matter xD

We'll be learning how to do different approaches to basic extracting so that self your stocks are much cleaner

I'm not 100% sure that the meeting lets you do hands on control but I think it's the only one that allows more than 1 other person.. But if it's going to be us two then remote control should be ok

Alright everyone, please make a point to come watch one of AF's best signature makers demonstrate to you the keys to a good signature. You may learn some new tips you had no idea about and it's always fun to see someone else do things.

Failure to show up in our BETA will ultimately result in possibly the whole operation being shut down. I know you guys want to learn specific more complex things like Dreamweaver or Illustrator however we can't get to that point if we do not know how well our process idea works. Just as we found out with issues with join.me and teamviewer.

We're going to do much LESS at a time so hopefully everyone won't be so crammed down with things. Hope to see you there tonight at 7PM EASTERN TIME.

I have so failed you guys! I'm so sorry I couldn't come, but my family surprised us with a visit, so we went down to see the Glass Fest. I could've sent you a message, I know. It looks like the lesson was fun!

I'm sorry. I felt so guilty, thinking that these lessons had been canceled because I didn't show up. Anyway, I'm going to see about getting Skype now! My comp shouldn't have any problems with it.

No worries darling, we had a tiny handful and we really had a blast and the results were good and we learned very interesting tips. ^_^ Skype is fun since we can chat while learning and ask questions that we may not understand. Hope you'll be able to do the next one

Well for now we're only having one time slot per event since the problem was we'd adhere to peoples different availabilities but yet no one shows up except one person (who wasn't even the person who was available that day) So just one day in hopes more people show. There isn't an exact time for the next one but if you have a suggestion for a time please let us know so we can see if it conflicts with our demonstrators time or not ^^

I'll see about recording them but The last one was pretty long and I don't know where to go to upload anything longer than 10mins. Much less an hour or more.
