In my youth , we would get trolled so hard it took us several hours to discover we had been trolled. When we did discover about the trolling , we were in such a deep state of anger and madness that we were practically salivating and our heart rate was off the charts , which meant that all retaliation was practically impossible.

Thing is, people are a lot more aware of trolls now than they were in the olden days. The first real successful trolls AF had would just hurl random insults and people would swallow it hook, line, sinker, oars, boat, wellingtons and copy of trolling weekly. Today's audience wouldn't give that sort of trolls the time of day. Off a few insults, you'd get like 20 pages of people telling them what an idiot they were.

It was a simpler time.
