Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls



Synopsis:

"The story takes place in Japan in the early 21st century, in an alternate reality where the Tokugawa Shogunate has remained in power. In this reality, student councils are tasked with oppressing schools. Yagyuu Muneakira is a high school student who rebels against his student council with the help of girls who've had the names of famous samurai heroes passed on to them."

I've just watched the first episode and at first, I thought it was going to be rubbish, the same old ecchi stuff. However after a few minutes or so of watching it, it got pretty awesome. The art style is unique (the ink blobs can get annoying though) the characters are great and the plot...IT ACTUALLY HAS A PLOT! I was amazed when I watched it, an ecchi show full of girls actually having a decent plot.

I gave the first episode a 4/5, I just hope it keeps it up.

Those black splatters annoy me, not talking about how they use it for censoring but in general.
They cover up to much of the fights and such, blergh.
Like the art style except for that.

An ecchi anime with an actual plot to it. I nearly fell out of my chair at the mere thought of it.

Other than that, a decent and worthwhile anime in my opinion. I could go without the somewhat excessive use of all the black spots though. Let's hope it keeps up.

Sekirei pretty much failed in season 2...
But i really do like this new anime's Style

3rd episode was pretty predictable. Although it's nice knowing that the master samurai Jubei isn't as evil as everyone thinks, I just hope the dude has some fight scenes as well >:

4th Episode was more hilarious then anything. I kinda liked Sanada in this episode.

Seems he's finally come to terms on how a general should be, unlike the other dude. Also YAY, more Jubei

I've only just began watching it, I love Samurai Girls, Jubei is my favourite character, her silly childlike personality is adorable, also when she becomes a master samurai, she's just dead hot

Yuki's funny too, I love it when she argues with everyone
