Should I get a nose ring one nostral and a eyebrow ring and maybe earring (top part)?

Well I not posting a pic of myself now or ever but I want to stop with the "nice/friendly/kind guy look" (which I really am) as its not getting me any where (never dated/never kissed someone/never asked someone out). So now I want to kind of re-invent myself to my oppisite. I have been looking at jeans and leather coats and "tough guy tops ie dragons/skulls etc" and hope it will get me somewhere. I got my hair cut to a 1 ie. very ... very short. Sure I will always be the nice/friendly/kind guy personality under it all but still at my age (don't ask what age I am but I do look younger than I am. It's sad to even be at my age and never dated or asked somebody out or kissed someone.I always just end up being friends with someone ):

I'm thinking a big no. You don't sound like you have the crew or the personality to go with it, and, depending on what country you live in, you might be kind of a little guy, so you might wind up looking a little silly.

But you mentioned that you'd never asked anybody out. If that's the case, than you don't even know that your current appearance isn't working for you, as you haven't really tried it out yet. Work on making the effort first. Once you've racked up a healthy number of rejections, then maybe consider if something needs to change.

Oh, piercings are hot but not in the nose, that looks disgusting. Eyebrow might be a bit too much, I suggest you get an earring first and if you like it you can for the eyebrow but not the nose, the nose would look gross.

I personally don't think that you're short, cause 5'7 is considered tall by my standard (I'm puny T_T). Anyway, nose and eyebrow rings are not attractive. Maybe you should try earrings first.

Just a ring in the nose or in the eyebrown / or new clothes won't make you automatic kissed exc. Just changing the outside won't change the one you are inside. If you feel shy when it comes to ask someone out you have to work on that, you don't have to take drastic measures when it comes to your look: because you will still be the same person inside as you where before. As sunnyside said before, if you havn't even tried to ask someone out yet; then how do you know that your current look doesn't work for you?

Tbh, I think you shouldn't you wanna get out of you "nice/friendly/kind guy look" why? if that's what you feel you are then stay that way, it doesn't matter if you've never dated/kissed/asked anyone out, neither have I but you won't see me contemplaiting if I should get a piercing because of it, I think that if you want a girlfriend or whatever you reason for doing this is, you should forget about the piercing and instead do something about it, you just need to chill out instead of panicking and thinking about changing yourself, want a girl, go out and ask a girl out, it's not something a piercing can do anything about.

As said I really don't get why you wanna change that much, but hey, that's just me, maybe someone else on the forum will help you out, but imo it's a bad idea that's just waiting to happen.

Well, if you're spanish I think you're average height for that country. In any case you're taller than a whole lot of girls, so I doubt this is going to be a major issue for dating. Just that you might have some trouble playing the tough guy.

I think, you should be yourself. If that won't get you a lady friend, then it's not worth going to all the trouble of buying a whole new wardrobe and piercing your face. They should just want you because you're you, you know? That's a lot of yous @_@

In anime far too often you have the women hurling themselves at the guys for some reason or other. I think if your plan is to wait until that happens, you're probably going to be a very lonely guy.

But more often I've seen that end in highly toxic situations that are awkward not just for the two people involved, but also for both people's network of friends. I think it has more to do with the fact that males who havn't had so many relationships before often are satisfied at first with just having female friends - so they do a lot of things in the beginning to make sure that the females like them as friends - but afterwards they want more (or feel more "comfortable" with wanting more from that relationship) but then often the girls have already putted them in the friendzone, and it's hard to get from there. Many times you don't only lose the girl as a potential girlfriend, but you will also lose her as a friend (since it gets awkward to hang with eachother after a rejection). It can work to get a friend to a girlfriend, or a friend to a boyfriend, but most of the times I don't think it will work at all.

I think it's most of the times easier to try to get a "unknown" person (not completely unknown, but not your friend) to becoming your "partner" [start dating you] instead of stranger > friend > partner.

You wrote before that you don't talk with people about what you do for a living. But arn't there females on the racing ground that you can try to talk with? They have a simiilar interest as you after all - and when you share the same interest it's easier to find something to talk about at the beginning. Have you tried that?

To be frank, fundamentally changing your natural appearance in order to get into an intimate relationship with someone sounds like a rather flawed idea to me. Unless you're absolutely prepared to fully embrace your new look and fundamentally change your natural alignment, you would be ice-skating up a very long hill. Even if, with your new look you attracted a GF/BF at the end, there is a risk that he/she may fall in love with your image rather than the real you. Such a relationship would not be sustainable because it would be based on false judgement to begin with.

On the other hand, the advantage of not fundamentally changing your appearance is that you are more likely to find someone who genuinely likes you for who you really are. Okay, so you may have to wait longer to find such a person, but that is surely better than potentially attracting someone whom you may later find is incompatible with you.

I won't say that you should or shouldn't go for piercings as such, that's really a matter of taste (and if someone genuinely likes you they shouldn't care about your accessories anyway); but if you're going to do so it should be for the right reasons. Furthermore it'd be much cheaper and more effective to go for a change of hair style and clothes rather than going for 3 piercings at once. Finally, and this really goes without saying, it's rather premature to consider such drastic measures before even asking someone out.

I suppose often it might just be a guy going after his female friends because he has convenient access to them and starts of feel comfortable around them. But it's annoying to the rest of us who have to deal with the fallout, even just that annoyingly awkward phase where he's trying to buy her things and do boyfriendish stuff but she's obviously not interested. Although more than annoying his friends, I don't think it tends to be the best plan for the guy either.

Sort of on this subject, another thing I see a lot in anime is the bit where a guy and a girl are stuck together by fate for some reason or other. Inyusha type stuff.

Anyway that's another thing a guy probably shouldn't hold his breath for. And when it does happen in real life, frequently it's a work relationship or something and dating is probably slightly innappropriate.

But beyond that the writers are behind all the stuff in the anime, and they've selected the couple deliberately.

However if a girl has to interact with you in some real life situation a lot, well, writers weren't behind it, it's just chance. I think it's important to actually do some looking for a really good match, as opposed to just going after whatever girl happens to be convenient because she's friends with one of your other friends or because she has to interact with you regularly.

I suspect people marrying random convenient people is part of the reason why divorce rates are so high.
