Hunger bends to madness
Desire bends to sin
A quiver breaks the sadness
I am dwelling in

Warmth of summer sun
Splitting through the trees
Across the hood does run
And breaths inside of me

The court has broken up
The judgement has been passed
But I was shaken up
And left the hearing last

Her eyes blazed emerald fire
Boric acid gripped her hart
What ill has stoked her ire
And made our twinings part

These pilgrims around me
Path slithers through the trees
As we all in silence flee
Ourselves, solitary

The sun crashes in the west
And breaks upon the line
I have done all my best
But best is not quite fine
