Yet in return you are trying to force a non-racist way of life on others by condemning their actions.
I don't agree or disagree with racism. It all matters on the individual. Truth be told some people actually have a good reason for the racism they portray. Is it right to take a problem with a few out on an entire race? No. However, until you've been in their shoes, you have no justifiable reason to condemn them. This world is full of hate and that will never change.
(0.o) how did you know? Lol. Living in England all my life actually makes me see white women to be quite dull and boring (don't get me wrong; not ugly, just never as enticing) whereas Asian and Indian women seem totally exotic and exiting to me... Even though I'm from there myself xD
I do not discriminate. Some of my friends do, and sometimes I make a racist joke, but I'm not white supremacist at heart.
haha. much like me finding any excuse to mention my car and/or post pictures of it. but i can't be bothered by people saying bad things about it due to my superior understanding of the DGAF button, and my exceedingly skillful use of assuming everyone but me has bad taste and is secretly jealous. haha...i'm a boss :]

If it makes you feel better I don't think "Aussie" counts as a race.
I hadn't heard of Aussie/Japanese tension. Plenty of Aussie/Islam tension though.
I guess Japan has that whole "No Gaijin allowed thing, but usually it's all forigners. I've never heard of them to single out Aussies, just occasionally Americans and for some reason Filipinos. I've got no idea what's up with Japan and Filipinos. I figure the American thing is because of issues with some rough types from the military bases.
Actualy my boyfriend is rasist. He hates polish people. Just because they're Polish. I'm half polish so it makes no sence. Maybe he is just making very mean fun of them? Dunno.
Anyway, no rasist friends, but some of my friends (acualy, my bestr friends) hate people that are not heterosexual. Just pure hate. I have no idea how's that called

Ummm.... why don't Aussie's count as a race? Aussie's are often racist to anyone of another colour. Not usually toward white Europeans or Americans. There is a lot of racisms here toward Aboriginals which is dumb, cos they were here long before us whites. And also many people are opposed to immigrants from China, Japan, Phillipines, India etc. People actually put stickers on their car here that say "f%#* off, were full". Which is also very dumb since we are one of the less populated countries and we have it pretty good here, so of course ppl want to immigrate!
I wouldn't consider Aussie to be a race because the main Australian population is made up of immegrants without a distinct or seperate ancestry. So their race would be Caucasian broadly, or if they wanted to be more specific they might be Welsh, Scottish, Anglo-saxon, Celtic, etc.
I guess in time they might forge a genetically distinct identity, but I doubt they would have done so already.
I suppose they might count as an ethnic group. Is the term used as if it referred by Australians?
I remember I used to have a friend that said she doesn't date black men.
My friend said she did supposedly date a black guy once, but after dating one, she didn't seem interest in dating him anymore.
I think it sounds really stupid, because each person is different, so just because you dated one black guy doesn't mean that they are all like that.
It's stupid to think that way.
You have to have friends to have racist friends.
I don't D:
But really, I haven't really encountered it where I live, though my step father sometimes make comments, I try to correct him but what Blue said is sadly true, you can't change their way of thinking.

No I don't have any racist friends but sometimes they do get tired of me only showing them Asian stuff, which is understandable, I guess.
No, I'd say those are a very generalized race ("white") mixed with a nationality (American or South African).
Some groups that were sufficiently xenophobic or isolated might refer to their race and nationality as the same thing. But I haven't ever noticed that to be the case in America.
It's a widely known stereotype that Polish people do not work. It's really sad he takes it so letteraly though... Here in Holland, we have plenty of Polish immigrants who do not work and get financial assistance from the government... In other words, we pay for their stay. Not completely fair now is it?

Hmm....I think the stereotype here is that the polish ARE very efficient workers. Stereotypically they've come into many of the construction services. They don't charge as mcuh for their service and they are quick and efficient.
Did she specifically say why she didn't want to date black men anymore? Was it really the personality of one person?
Lone Wolf
Racist? No.
Irrationally discriminating? Yeah. A lot of people can be more irrationally discriminating than they tend to think, though.
When someone thinks they can easily measure the ability, intent or attitude of someone based on their gender, looks, job, hobbies, nationality, ethnicity or things like that, before they try to figure out and deeply consider what's actually there in the individual.Originally Posted by SuXrys

None of my permanent friends are that irrationally discriminating or something, though. As another example, you can easily see in anime communities some people acting hollowly cocky with anime fans and nerds and about things that exist in most other fandoms.
If you're asking about a specific case of it the way I worded it; i.e. someone who thinks they are "never" or hardly as irrationally discriminating as others, but is in fact at least a bit more so than they think... Well, thing is that introspection isn't always the most reliable way of measuring something so broad like that about oneself. When you ask someone or make a thread asking people "Are you open minded?", many people might swiftly say yes, usually based on introspecting the times they observed someone else's closed-mindedness about something and contrasted it with their own open-mindedness about it. But they hardly remember (if even recognize) the other times they themselves were more closed-minded and irrationally discriminating about something else.
It's not really that they are fundamentally closed-minded people (if such thing ever exists), but anyone can be closed-minded and irrationally discriminating about something specific until they come to understand it (and generally understand human beings) in more depth.
Since I went this far talking about this, and with the risk of sounding pedantic, I'm gonna link some Wikipedia articles:
cognitive biaswiki, list of cognitive biaseswiki, memory biaswiki
I forgot what the specific biases were called, though, so read and search at your own peril (lol).
