Default The unexplained mysteries of our world

There are so many mysteries on mother earth that humans may never be able to solve. Such as stonehenge, the lockness monster, the pyramids of egypt, crop circles, the bermuda triangle, and even jolly 'ol big foot. These are just to name a few.

I want to see what you guys have to say about this. Which mystery is most intriguing to you? What are some of the more unheard of mysteries that don't get much attention? Have you ever had any experience with somthing out of the ordinary that may be linked to one of these phenomenons?

The lockness monster was one of the first mysteries to spark my interest when i was little. Ever since, i have always bean interested in all the diferant ways that a pre-historic mammal could still be alive today. living in the depths.

    There's another Naruto! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naruto_whirlpools
Naruto whirlpools are not a mystery, but it kinda fascinates me, mainly because it's the name of a famous anime, lol.

I'm more interested in Atlantis. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlantis Is it true that Atlantis exist in the past?

Thanks to Ms Lucy for this awesome, funny gif.

The person that you are now is not the person that I used to know. You're becoming a stranger that I've never met before. Not liking the change though.

That is interesting. I have heard of somthing along those lines called outer body experiences. When you go to sleep, your awareness leeves your body. Kinda like passing in between worlds.

There is a legend that the Portuguese islands of Azores are the last remnants of Atlantis... Go check it out. They are very beautifull too.

To me , the greatest mistery there is is how the human brain works , and how real stuff is. Isnt it true that our toughts and perceptions are nothing more than electrical impulses and chemicals travelling trough our brain cells? But is that all there is to it?

And if that is true , then everything we see around us is nothing more than a little charge of electricity in our brain. Seems kinda weird. Tough believing in an invisible thing inside us called soul seems even weirder...

I personaly belive that there is more to us then that. Regardless as to what scientists want people to belive. What i think is that our souls awareness is sort of binded to our bodys, until we die. Dont think of it as invisible, but more not in our material world. This is why i always say; only death can set us free!

In all seriousness, I believe much of what seems mysterious to us now will be explained/ understood in future generations. (And also... Atlantis is in the Pegasus Galaxy. It was left there by ancient aliens who escaped to Earth. They passed the stories onto the local humans.)

I don't believe in the paranormal. Things like stone-henge and the pyramids will one day be explained by science (if humans live long enough). I must say though, a friend of mine lived in a 'haunted hotel'.

    http://www.castleofspirits.com/websi...spothotel.html

I saw the originals of these photos, and I know the photographer who took them. They were also investigated by forensics and could not be explained. A little weird but I still tend to believe in a logical explanation somewhere...

The origin of spin angular momentum that causes line splitting in the nuclear shell model of the nucleus of an atom has had me pondering....
I too ponder about whatever that is...

Oh , i see... That is quite a mystery indeed. Doesnt that have to do with quantum mechanics or something? Ive seen a documentary about it the other day , and it left me pretty interested, tough i dont have the physics and chemical know-how to understand most of the stuff they said , i understood the basics.
I also ocasionally ponder about if the Universe, Stars and Plantes are self conscient. Its a bit silly tough.

Thanks to Ms Lucy for this awesome, funny gif.

The person that you are now is not the person that I used to know. You're becoming a stranger that I've never met before. Not liking the change though.

Indeed it does! The messed up thing with quantum mechanics is that everything is no longer what you think it is. Things that would seem impossible in the real world have a possiblity of happening in the quantum world. You can't look at particles as marbles or billiard balls anymore- they are all probabilities. It makes you want to pull out your hair!!!

Yeah , i was quite confused with it myself. They said that in the quantum world or something , things have the ability to cease existing, and then reappear somewhere else. Damn , that show confused me.
What i also found confusing was the time i learned that gravity had influence on Time itself. My mind kinda blew up.

Yeah that thing is called quantisation. when stuff is really tiny, it can only be in certain places. and to get between these places, it literally teleports.

Yeah gravity effects time. and so does the speed at which you travel. The flow of time is all relative. the only thing that ever stays at the same pace is the speed of light. It's pretty mind blowing to people, who've had the preconception that time flows at a constant rate: that every second is the same.
