PLAMEN decided to wait for the girl inside the bar, he had some cloak on with a mask so he would not be recognized, as he sat and waited for the girl he decided to have a drink, this is when one of his contacts walked in. PLAMEN thought to himself 'this could be bad, better difuse the situation' so he walked up with the drink he bought, with a little bit of medicine to make the memories of the night not be remembered, and he offered it to his contact. Within minutes the man was speaking in a tongue that no one recognized, and he left. PLAMEN thought 'he could become a menace to the society of the town but I have more important things to do. He ordered another drink for himself and sat in the back corner watching the door waiting for her to show up, he still had 30 minutes before she was do, but he liked to know his surroundings before meeting a new person, for you never know what they might do, he had rigged the entire bar with smoke bombs and had three possible escape routes, than she walked in and sat at the bar. PLAMEN sat next to her and bought her a drink and said "Letsl start with the basics, hello my name is PLAMEN whats yours?"

Alexandra first walked into the bar and sat at the table. She quickly got a glimpse of the bar and people around her. There would be a lot of pirates and other fugitives around her but there are that many today. She didn't want anything but she kept her guard up as the same man from earlier approached her and sat next to her. He kindly passed her a drink but usually wanted water but she needed answers first.

(PLAMEN) "Lets start with the basics, hello my name is PLAMEN whats yours?"
(Alexandra) "Alexandra. Now that we introduced ourselves, I would like some answers on your intentions and motives..."

OOC: Sorry for such a late entrance to the RPG @~Shobu~ . Also please be aware that 1 gold coin is equal to 1000 dollars so to speak...this is just so it will be easier to illustrate the amount of money available in the game. If you guys are confused about the Stationary Roulette and how it works please watch this video Stationary Roulette [click here]. It starts at 1:15

The air was muggy and pungently perfumed with bodily odors and alcohol. As Galatea entered the poorly lit bar she was greeted by sneers and eyes that glimmered at their own perverted thoughts and the desire to "do" her. Disregarding the eyes that followed her like a predator looking at their helpless pray, Galatea confidently smiled and sat a seat next to the counter where the bar's patron cleaned his cups with a rather dirty rag. Galatea bent her leg and rested it on the next seat well aware that this revealed more of her body to the hungry wolves, but she innocently pretended she was not aware of it. Raising her hand to get attention of the bar tender Galatea ordered a shot of cognac and instantly the scrubby man served her the drink along with a small bowl of black olives. Slowly Galatea raised the shot glass to her lips and took a sip of the cognac which was followed by a burning but pleasant sensation in her throat.

Just as she was about to eat a black olive a rather burly pirate rudely approached Galatea taking an obvious peek at her breasts. Calmly taking another sip Galatea finished the alcoholic drink and before the swain could further walk into a territory that could not be touched Galatea quickly grabbed her scimitar and placed the tip of the blade against his throat. The man was taken aback as he had not expected to be so quickly subdued by a woman that was merely a fourth of his own size. Galatea slightly scoffed the man before forcibly making him sit in the nearest table by pressing her sword against his throat. Leaning forward Galatea looked into the pirate's eyes, she was so close to his face that it made him slightly uncomfortable. Her olive colored eyes were like that of a jungle Jaguar; which deeply penetrated into everything her eyes laid upon or so it was the rumor as to why she was referred to as God-Eyed Galatea. Smiling Galatea backed off and the man fell at easy, but again was put on the hot seat as Galatea once again unsuspectingly took her scimitar and almost skewered the man's private parts.

"Do not cross a path that you can't even step on. But today is your lucky day my man...why don't we play a game of Stationary Roulette? If I win I will get to keep all of the earnings but if you win I will surely welcome your generous patronage."

The man gulped and looked at her as if she was insane to which it seemed so, but like always Galatea did not go gambling like this if she did not had a clear plan set up...especially with her life and pride as both a pirate and a Amazonian. Looking at one of bystanders Galatea nodded and the youngster meekly walked over to where she was and placed two veiled objects and a huge pile of gold coins on the table. With the table set Galatea went on to explain the game to the crowd.

"Roulette...invented by the famous Pascal is the world's oldest casino game and all that is requires is luck. Players must hone their sight, and sharpen their senses and trust their intuition. HOWEVER...the roulette we shall play is not reliant on luck. Let us reveal...our roulette table."

With those words Galatea's partner took off the black blanket that had covered the game pieces. It was a rather peculiar roulette for instead of the usual number of pockets Galatea's only had four pockets along with a betting mat with numbers one through four. Not only did the roulette have a weird numbering but it also did not rotate like the conventional roulette table. Immediately both the burly pirate and the bystanders that were watching whispered among themselves amazed at the bizarre game that had been presented to them and even one of them said out loud: "What the heck is this?" Surveying the crowd Galatea moved on to explain how the game worked.

"This table is used by removing the top lid and inserting a ball inside the cylinder that is directly connected to the roulette."

Galatea took the small silvery marble and placed it like she had explained. Once she was finished Galatea looked at her adversary whom still had a completely puzzled look.

"Did you see what number I have chosen?"

The pirate shook his head to show that he could not see which number Galatea had placed her bets on.

"This roulette has been designed so that the opponent cannot see the number that has been chosen. I have chosen number one."

Closing the lid Galatea pressed the top of the lid down and just like she had said the silvery marble appeared on the number one slot. With this she had finished explaining the main game piece and only the betting mat was left to explain.

"The rules to this game is roughly the same as ordinary roulette, with the exception of who you're up against. Instead of going against the dealer, this game pits player against player. One player drops the ball into the wheel while the other player bets on where the ball will land. Since it seems that you, my lovely man, is still confused let's have a rehearsal game. But first we must decide who is the designated dealer and the participant. The designated dealer's job is to place the ball on the wheel and this job will be alternated every round to a grand total of eight rounds. That means each player will have four opportunities to be the designated dealer."

With her hand Galatea motioned towards the man letting him know that she was allowing him to be the first designated dealer. And so the pirate took the silvery marble and foolishly without much thought placed the ball on a number, forgetting that Galatea had previously explained that Stationary Roulette did not rely on luck like the classical version. Warily the pirate sat back down and avoided eye contact with Galatea.

"Hmm...which numbers shall I put my bets on? I think I shall pass on this one..."

"Eh?! Why do I have to bet?! You do know that I am the one who chose where the ball is right?"

"Yes I am aware of that fact but that is why you have to bet in a way as to hide the correct number from your opponent. Say for instance, you bet ten gold coins on number one only I will immediately know that the answer is on that number. But if you were to bet ten gold coins on all four numbers then it will be much harder to guess which is the right number. And you can bet as much as you want and on as many numbers as you want. From one gold coin to all of your money so that means in this Stationary Roulette game it is possible to end everything in one shot. Now please bring out your gold...after all I know that the pirates gathered here aren't small fries."

The game began with the man placing ten gold chips in all four numbers as expected but just as Galatea was about to make her bets she explained the rules for the participants.

"When someone is the participant there are two rules involved...First, the participant may not wager on more than two numbers and second the participant must bet an equal amount or greater than the bet placed by the designated dealer. Of course, in such case that the designated dealer waged more gold coins than the participant can pay he can continue to play by waging all of his money at once."

Smirking Galatea placed her gold coins on numbers two and three completing the bets for the round. Once again the young pirate that was helping Galatea stepped forward and pressed the lid revealing the golden number; which was number two.

"As you can see we have both won this round since we both put money on the correct number. However the total coins waged on incorrect numbers are awarded as earnings. In such a scenario as this, in which both players have bet on the correct number, the coins waged on incorrect numbers are paid to each player based upon the ratio of coins waged on the correct one. Which as you can see right now is three to two in my favor."

After computing the earnings Galatea's pile increased by 6 gold coins. A crowd member shouted towards Galatea: "You sure are lucky God-Eyed Galatea that you did not bet on number four..." yet little did that pirate know that Galatea's bet was much more than just a lucky shot. This was best explained by a psychological experiment done long ago where the test subject was asked to make a three choice multiple answer question. The experiment later revealed that a majority of the test subjects had placed their second and third choice as the correct answer. It was a subconscious defensive instinct of the mind to allay their fears; which if anybody would recall the man had said out loud which first numbers he was betting on thus giving a likely choice on what the correct number was. Next was Galatea's turn to be the designated dealer and so she took the ball and placed it inside the roulette wheel.

"Shall we make our bets now?"

In this round she had placed 160 coins on two and three; which was more than her adversary could afford and so by game rules he was forced to bet all his money. Unnervingly he placed all of his money on the same numbers as Galatea. The air became tense as the moment of truth came but this round was perhaps the most yet shocking move to be made by Galatea as the ball came down not on the numbers she had bet but on number four -- a number nobody had bet. And since neither player waged on the correct number all the gold coins were collected and neither could obtain them back. And to much of the crowd's jubilee those unattainable coins were redistributed making the crowd of pirates even more rowdy. This seemed like an extremely foolish move, but because of the difference in previous earnings the man had reached zero. Meaning that since he had ran out of coins the game is immediately finished and thus Galatea would've won if it were not a rehearsal game.

"This is also another way you can win the game."

And so the rehearsal game had ended and the real game began...naturally in this game the bets where a lot higher than the rehearsal game. One hour and eight rounds later the once fire lit pirate that was eager to make his "kill" laid his head on the table as Galatea had completely defeated and swindled all of his money. This was one of Galatea's favorite way to take down an entire "ship" and its crew without ever laying a foot on an actual deck. Satisfactorily, Galatea got up and along with her partner left the crowded rowdy bar. Once outside the bar a breeze of fresh ocean air rushed into Galatea's lungs bringing in much needed relaxation.

"I guess after collecting my spoils it's better to return to the Red Sapphire...isn't it right Hypnos?

Once again Galatea and Hypnos returned to their home base where she was enthusiastically greeted by the crew and especially by, Sith, Galatea's pet Jaguar that accompanied her since her warrior days in the Amazon. Looking out into the deck and setting down multiple bags of gold Galatea wondered where her Captain was.

The girl introduced herself as Alexandria, she than wanted to get into the grit of things and know PLAMEN's motives, PLAMEN smiled at her and said "Motives, why my only motives is to find new work, as I told you before madam, I truly despise working for the pirates but they are the only ones who want to hire a man with the set of skills that I have acquired, and even than most of the time they don't want to know what the other pirates are up to, just what they know about the infamous treasure. As you have probably guessed I am a spy, and I am a good spy at that. Now than the reason I contacted you is simple, to take down the pirates, they are my competition, and yours to if word does me right, and I can't take them all down on my own and despite the fact that you may refuse to believe it neither can you, BUT if we work together we might just have the chance at the treasure, if it in fact does exist."

Xanthos became bored waiting for Noir to give him orders. He leaned himself over the banister and looked down at the water, longing to see the ship cutting through the ocean's waves again. He rolled the helmet on his cheek some more. The cringe-worthy pain made him smile. While he was staring, a little lost in his head, Xanthos' ears picked up Wee Jack's voice talking about someone, some girl, getting water on their shirt. When he heard Eve's name, his blood began to boil. Wee Jack had a bad habit of objectifying women. Xanthos didn't mind his objectification when it was about someone he didn't know, but this conversation was about Eve. Beyond just Eve's tremendous beauty, Xanthos had a deep respect for her as a human being. She was a good friend, and an awesome pirate. The longer he listened, the more he wanted to slam Wee Jack's head into the wall. His sight began turning red. He knew that if he didn't leave the deck, he'd end up acting on his violent nature, and Noir would have something to say about that, even if Xanthos did have a valid reason.

Resisting his urges, Xanthos walked down to the cabin area. He knocked on Eve's door. "Are you ok?" He asked through the door when no one answered. He didn't know what else to ask or say to her. He didn't even really know why he was in front of her door, but his walk had taken him there, so there must have been a reason. "If the cap'ain would let me, I'd teach Wee Jack a lesson for talkin bout you the way he was. I'd knock that midget-man flat on his back if I could, Eve." He bowed his head, staring at his feet while he rambled into the door. "You shouldn't be that embarrassed. You're pretty an' people are always gonna talk that way bout pretty folks. Even without water fallin on them." The lop-sided smile appeared. "I'd be lyin if I said I wasn't jealous of Wee Jack though." Then he turned and began to walk toward the deck.

Evelyn heard the voice at the door, it was Xanthos. He must have heard the lads talking about her. She muffled her face into the pillow.

As Xanthos finished his short talk with the door, Eve sat up in her bed. She muttered something under her breath to herself and regained her composure. "Oh Xan, If I were 10 years younger..." she replied, and headed to let him in. He had just left though, Eve saw the bottom of his legs heading up the far stairs.

Guess I better show myself to the guys, and get it over with she scowled. It was like being in school again, but these immature boys were men.
"Wait up Xan!" She ran up after him "I do believe the captain owes you a drink!"

Noir came back up on deck. He was getting a little impatient, waiting for Haley, but she probably ahd a good reason for being Late. He didn't begrudge her that. She had to make quite a few investigations. Spotting Xan coming up on deck he grinned, vaulted the banister then landed on his feet. Then he noticed Xan was dry. ''Bugger.'' he said, realsing- ''Wait, Xan, I think the Captain owes you a Drink!'' Yup. That.

Eve Came bustling on Deck just after Xan did. her hair was wet lightly wet. ''Eve... You disabled my trap you sly little... Oh.'' He realised Eve might have a small thing for Xan, same as he had for her. ''It would seem I do, Eh Xan. Fine, I'll get you one next port were in. Promise... Why are you staring at Jack like that?'' Wee Jack looked over akwardly, halfway through dowing a bottle of his own booze. He looked hammered already. ''Whatchouwannin Xanny Boy!'' He proclaimed drunkedly, before stagering backward a few feet. Xan realsied he would have a hard time fihting Jack like this- he was drunk, and trained to fight like a drunk.

Eve stopped in her tracks. Oh, it always happened to her...

Thankfully though, the captain was still in a good mood. she sensed Noir caught the wrong impression of her and Xan, she'd have to clear that up later.

Looking over at Jack, she was glad he had probably drunk the image out of his mind, but was going to steer clear of him anyway, she walked carefully around him and to the captain's side

Xanthos' warm smile quickly transformed itself into his lop-sided grin. "A bucket-ah water over the door again, eh?" A waver of laughter carried in his voice. "Cap, you gotta change it up. I haven't fallen for that in almost a month. I always look up if the door's cracked open." He stood proudly, thinking to himself that that captain's lesson of stay on guard was beginning to wear into him.

Wee Jack's presence made Xanthos' blood boil again, until he saw the bottle and that half of it was demolished. His blood cooled to a low simmer. The language Wee Jack had used to describe Eve was, in Xanthos' young mind, inexcusable. "I can't just not say somethin to ya Wee Jack, talkin bout Eve that way, like she was some low bar wench was real sad ah'ya!" He growled. "I dun care if ya are trained ta fight drunk, if the cap'ed let me, I'd go straight fer ya throat ya ugly toad." Xanthos' guard was up. He was ready for the little man to attack.

Alexandria was still unsure of PLAMEN due to him burning the contracts that she had in her hand, so in an attempt to mend that bridge he explained his reasoning.

PLAMEN "ah, but my lovely Alexandra, burning those papers were all part of the chess game I had to play, I burned those papers so that one of two scenarios, it also helped me get to talk to you as a person and not as a face. The first scenario was simple, I burned the papers, you refuse to help me, and I may have saved a couple of my contacts from being busted by you, or this scenario, where we talk and you agree to me purposal, either way it set out and accomplished its goal when I burned those papers, its all just a game of chess, you just have to make your opponent move where you want to, and hope that they don't counter your peice, and I have to say the cat was an excellent pawn in the matter."

    OOC: I love you guys!

“Turmeric!” Jasper said, delighted. He took the basket cheerfully and delicately placed it on the desk, as if he were working with a patient. “Perfect! I’ve been wanting to try new combinations and methods with tumeric; and it’s so very rare...I owe you big for this.” Jasper shook his head. “I know you worked really hard for the trade, and please, name your price. We’re still in your debt for bailing us out during the epidemic when our materials were so terribly low.”

Euthalia failed miserably to resist the blush that crossed her cheeks. "No no! You owe me nothing! I'm always happy to help!" she said, waving her hand at that statement.

Of course, one of the reasons Nemo even assisted in the epidemic was to be close to Jasper; another reason was because mermaids were immune to the diseases of humans so she knew she could help without the worry of falling victim to the outbreak. She wore a mask and gloves for "protection" of course. At the time, she realized she enjoyed busying herself with helping others. Until then she thought she could only hurt others. To know that she had the ability to keep people alive made her feel incredibly useful. But Hades thought otherwise. Nemo keeping people alive meant less people coming to the Underworld. He felt she was interfering with his "line of work". Regardless, Hades did not stop her from this little pleasure in her life, but he did make a point to punish her the moment she returned to the Underworld.

“Euthalia, there’s an exhibit a few of my colleagues have worked on at the Lyceum later this evening. They’re presenting new remedies for common diseases that are easier to obtain for the common Greek. Would you be interested in going with me? I didn’t work on this with them, so I’m interested to see what they’ve done. Of course, if you can’t attend, there’s always next time.”

Euthalia blinked, trying to register what had just been asked. He could have asked her to go to Tartarus with him and she would gladly company him. The only time she ever sees Jasper was while he's at work and even her frequent little visit satisfied her. To be able to spend time with him outside of his work, she could die from joy. Of course, in retrospect, it still pertained to his job and he probably simply wanted her to accompany him to learn some remedies for herself so she would know what to gather next time she dropped by, but it didn't matter to her. She was going to spend extra time with him and that was all she cared about.

"O-of course! I'd love to go! It sounds very interesting!" She said, her blush still sitting on her cheeks as she smiled at him.

Sapphira made her way through the streets of Lavora with a determination in her eyes. She was nearly at the shore when she took a turn into a tavern. It was one of the more quiet ones in town. The moment she walked through the door, a dagger flew by her head and stuck into the wall behind her. It was quieter, not less dangerous.

"Apologies lass," a man in the back called out. Everyone was staring at her but she knew the source of the voice. She smirked and strolled into the back. All eyes fell back to their business. Sapphira stood in front of a handsome man who's long curly black hair held more jewelry than her entire being. Her black-rimmed eyes smiled at her, flashing a lovely golden tooth. "Lovely as ever, eh Sapphy?"

Sapphira sat on the table and stuck a boot between his spread legs and on the chair. "Now, did flattery get me under the sheets last time, Fador?" She said, her eyelashes lowering to give him a sensual gaze.

"Take a compliment, will you?" He laughed and leaned back in his chair. "Could o' grabbed my dagger for me, too."

"I'm sure no one would dare steal from Fador Markovosi the marauder if they hold life dear."

"Now you're flattering me, and you know I falter easier than you. You seem to always know when I'm here. To what do I owe this little visit?"

Sapphira smirked and leaned into his ear to whisper, "Tabais Dead Eye."

"Ah, so you're hunting his treasure too?"

She leaned back, hooked a finger on the gold chain around his neck and dragged him out of his seat as she languidly laid back on the table, which was bare except for Fador's mug. He braced himself so he wouldn't fall on top of her, not that he would mind, with his hands on each side of her head. "No love," she said in a low, husky voice, "I want to find the man himself." Before he could object or question her, she closed the distance between their lips. The two battled for dominance of the tongue until coming up for air was needed.

Attempting to catch his breath, Fador said, "Alright," huff huff, "Maybe I heard some rumors."

"What a kind sir," Sapphira said as she smirked.

"But it will cost you. Fifty gold."

    Silence.

"FIFTY GOLD?!" She kneed him in the abdomen and kicked him off of her, sitting up quickly as he stumbled backwards. "You're damn mad if you think I'll be payin' you fifty gold for a rumor!" After his coughing fit died down, Fador had to pull himself back into his seat.

"It's a solid statement. Take it or leave it Sapphira. Business 'as been slow." Sapphira fumed for about minute before giving a frustrated shout.

"Oh alright! Fine! But if it's a hoax, I'll have your tongue and tooth for payment, Fador!"

"Believe me, the source is trustworthy. He tells me Tabais has been spotted in the southern regions."

"Does anyone even know what he looks like?"

"Course not, just look for them dead eyes. 'At's how he got 'is name, isn't it?"

Sapphira weighed those words to logic. "There's more to it than that. I know there is." With that, she tossed a sack of coins in his lap and walked out.

Back on the ship, Sapphira looked about as her crew enthusiastically greeted her with waves and smiles and only returned to their business when acknowledged. She looked about and saw whom she was looking for. "Galatea!" She called out as she made her way towards the Amazonian woman. Seeing the two together was almost comical; compared to Galatea's tall and broad form, Sapphira seemed almost like a toddler in her presence. She caught a glimpse of her sacks and smirked. "Another game well played, I see. Get ready to set sail. the waters are calm for now, but we'll be headin' south to Greece. 'S about a four day journey I'd say, if Poseidon feels charitable enough," she said. "We'll be joining in the race for Dead Eye's gold."

Rufus had taken the first ship sailing to Greece. He had too much money and needed to spend some of it somewhere, where better than the center of of Mundus? He didn't know how long he'd been on this ship, but it didn't matter; he'd lost sense of time a while back.

As he sat in his tiny passenger cabin, he unconsciously stroked at his eye patch. This eye was a reminder of why he was alone. He needed nothing else; not even the scars beneath his clothes. He thought back to days he spent with Hitoshi and how he had lost him. Those were, of course, the happiest years of his life. But now, he feels nothing of the sort. All of the money in the world couldn't fill the hole in his chest.

Ryko bumped into Alena as she left the Shop. ''Alena... Seen the Captain?'' She shook her head. Ryko intimidated her mor ethan everone else, and she couldn't take him in a fight if she tried. ''N...no. I think she's gone back to the sh... ship.'' Ryko nodded, and flashed a quick smile, reminding Alena that there was kindness in him. Then he went back to the solemn look, and turned around to walk back to the Ship. checking her parcel was still in her bag, she followed.

As they arrived on the ship, Ryko handed over the Money he had made to Saphira. ''Is'nt as much as God eye got us, but I owe you as much. So here.'' He then walked along the deck and stood right in front of the Bowsprit. ''Theres a nice Southernly wind, sin't there Ma'am. Is that good or bad for us?'' Alena, as Ryko gotSaphira's ttention, Slipped away and took the Parcelto her medical room. She'd deliver it Later.

Noir looked rather amused at the rather Embarressed look on Evelyns Face. Maybe he was wrong aout her having a little crush on Xan, but he almost certainly did her. His Eyes Flickered to Xan and he said ''Actually, To hurt him more, I'd go for whats between his legs. Thouh i suppose its an easy mistake to mae, his face looking like an donkey.'' Alot of the crew laughed at that. Jack didn't seem to register. ''Go on then Xan. Show him what you've got.''

Wee jack was on him in a Heartbeat- leaping up, looking like he was going to land akwardly, he landed perfectly. Raising a fist, he landed a Jab taht stung more than it should- a blow straight to the top of the pelvis. Xan realised Wee Jack was still wearing his Knuckledusters. As jack brouht around a fist for another blow, he stopped it mid air and started throwing another puch with his other hand. however, there was the slightest hesitation in the 'real' punch- much like Noirs double bluff, only more obvious.

Evelyn sighed, why did boys always fight? Against an enemy was one thing, but they were crew mates.
She didn't think she could stop them, there were too many flailing arms for her to step in safely. She would have to just watch them (and silently root for Xan)

She looked up at the captain, he was engrossed in the battle, mimicing the punching movements of Xan. He must have been teaching him earlier, she was suprised she was rooting him on.

Haley blushed as Jace mentioned Noir in a more romantic fashion. "Um... Right, well, The Captain wants me back on the Ship soon. I think I should head back pretty soon anyway. your welcome aboard for a while, but we set sail soon. As for this "Dead eye" thing... Not entirely sure what were talking about there. I've never really looked much into the legend of Dead eye." She led him down towards the docks, though she would turn into an Inn if he wasnt intrested in coming aboard.

Jace laughed whole heartedly as Haley blushed. It drew a few looks from passersby as they walked closer to the docks and the main location for a place to stay. Jace hoped there might be a quiet place he could sort everything out at.
"A fair sight to see. A lovely young lady like you blushing." He joked, "I bet your captain has many sleepless nights with you on the same ship." He gave her a friendly nudge and a wink. He smiled, one of those that only positive people seemed to truely make. The kind that makes you sometimes think, 'Hey things might not be so bad'. One of those smiled.
As they continued on their way Jace took note on how much the little port had grown since his last visit. The wooden boards they walked on became more strained as they got closer to the docks, but were otherwise stronger then the last time he had made landfall here. Not that it wasn't to be expected, the salt in the air often did that to the wood. But Jace couldn't help shake the feeling that they might just snap under him. Trailing yet more dirt and mud might not imporve his chances of getting into a comfortable place. But luck would be luck.
"Well then," He sudden said. "I would hate to keep you apart from your captain anymore then I should." He gave a quick look around and spotted a good spot to start about getting himself sorted. He looked back to Haley and gave an over the top bow. "So fine lady I believe we may seperate here and go about our lives." He straightened up. "Good luck to ya and all your crew." He gave her a wave as he walked off in a different direction to a small travern out of the way. "Stay safe."
"I don't need to have the perfect plan. My foe just has to have an imperfect one." Jace Beleren

"Why fight the body when you can dominate the mind that rules it?" Jace Beleren

Everyone had gone off to gather any last-minute supplies before they set sail and Candeza decided to make her way back to the ship instead. With her flask once again full to the top and her buzz growing steadier by the minute, she knew she'd be set and the knowledge of the ship holding a couple dozen boxes of ammunition served as soothing comfort. The Red Sapphire, after all, had become home to Candeza and she'd be damned if she'd let anything happen to her.

Rumors had been flying everywhere about Dead Eye's treasure. Although stories of the legend had become more constant lately, the redhead had always taken any leads on it with a grain of salt and tended to bite her tongue whenever the Captain spoke of pursuing it. A skeptic by heart, it was hard for her to believe of the existence of something that, as far as she was aware, no one had been able to find. Setting her violin down, Candeza turned in time to see Sapphira return and approach Galatea. Out of everyone in the crew, the Amazonian was the one who Candeza knew the least about, but even then she held her in high regards for her contribution to the ship. Although they didn't always see eye-to-eye, the crew of the Red Sapphire was more or less a family.

"Another game well played, I see. Get ready to set sail. the waters are calm for now, but we'll be headin' south to Greece. 'S about a four day journey I'd say, if Poseidon feels charitable enough," she said. "We'll be joining in the race for Dead Eye's gold."

Great, she thought, fingers idly unscrewing the top to the flask and pressing it to her lips to take a large swig. Swishing the vodka around in her mouth for a few seconds, she finally urged it down her throat and grimaced. “Do we have any real leads this time, Captain?”

OOC: We love you too Shobu ♥ and I wish the forum would allow us to use more foul language...it would make things so much more realistic.

It was said that each day the Olympian god, Apollo, made his journey through the sky with his golden chariot and horses causing the Earth's day and night. Lightheartedly Galatea laid with her back in the ship's bowsprit nostalgically watching the skies that had been romantically dyed with yellows, oranges, reds, and varying degrees of indigo. Such skies brought nostalgic memories of when Galatea had lived deep in the mountainous forests of Tazo. Sighing she melancholically looked to her right...the vast ocean and bittersweet memories of her fellow Amazonians whom were taken hostage by the brutes that called themselves servants of the infamous Dead Eye's flooded Galatea's mind. "I wonder how my sisters are doing..." Galatea lightly whispered to herself. Noticing that Galatea was becoming gloomy, Sith, limberly climbed on top of the bowsprit and rubbed his large furry head against Galatea's thigh and looked at her with worried eyes. Slightly chuckling to herself Galatea got up to look at Sith and affectionately petted him. As Galatea stroked the Jaguar's head she noticed that Sapphira, her Captain, was calling her.

    "Galatea!"

Getting up, a strong ocean wind blew behind the Amazonian woman perhaps suggesting a new hope that she would finally be able to re-unite with her sisters and that the Red Sapphire crew would be able to find the fabled treasures. Using the fore-topmast staysail to balance herself Galatea jumped down onto the main deck. The wooden and bone like aboriginal ornaments that Galatea wore made playful noises like that of small coconuts hitting themselves as she jumped down. As always Galatea was barefooted and could feel all the nooks and crannies of the ground she walked on, a feeling that Galatea always loved to feel.

"Another game well played, I see. Get ready to set sail. the waters are calm for now, but we'll be headin' south to Greece. 'S about a four day journey I'd say, if Poseidon feels charitable enough...We'll be joining in the race for Dead Eye's gold."

Galatea watched her Captain as she spoke, Sapphira was a petite pirate who had champagne colored hair, cerulean eyes, silky light caramel skin and was a year younger than Galatea. All of Sapphira's traits both physically and personality wise made Galatea want to take her in as a apprentice like the Amazonian customs dictated, but Galatea had to constantly keep reminding herself that Sapphira was the Captain of the ship.

"I am not the Red Sapphire's strategist and Quatermaster for nothing --Sapphira the Saint. And I will get our crew ready for the journey and make sure we are well stocked in both food and ammunition."

Walking towards the center of the Red Sapphire, Galatea climbed on the ratlines near the foremast to get a better vantage point of the crew. Turning around to face the crew Galatea cleared her throat and spoke in a loud firm and somewhat authoritarian tone.

"ALL CREW MATES REPORT TO THE MAIN DECK NOW!"

As the crew began to gather in the designated spot where their Quatermaster had ordered, Galatea looked down and saw Alena, Candeza, and Ryko -- the top most known crew mates of the Red Sapphire. After a couple of minutes the ship's entire crew down from the rank after Galatea's to the musicians had gathered in the main deck.

"We are setting sail once again my fellow mates! This will be a four day journey to the island of Greece. Henceforth we need to be well prepared in every aspect and down to the minuscule details. I will have very little tolerance for anyone who fails to give their utmost attention to their positions. I want five people to check the state of the ship and ten people to check the food and ammunition supplies. Alena! As the only medic on this ship I want you to make sure that you have all the supplies needed in case of an emergency. Ryko! You check the conditions of our weapons and especially the cannons, you may take four crew mates of your liking to help you. Candeza! You are to go around the ship and check how things are going and report to me. All of you are dismissed!"

After being dismissed all of the pirates went on to their respective jobs. Climbing back down Galatea began heading towards the Quartermaster's chamber, she needed to check on the Red Sapphire's gold levels and other tasks that had to be done only by Galatea.

Ryko almost Chuckled as Gatlea began ordering him around. He would obey it of course, but it seemed almsot Ironic it was an Amazon ordering him around when he had once ordered them around. Then he remembered- that was one of his stories. He rubbed his eyes. ''Am I loosing it? Thats the 3rd time I've done that.'' He shook his head. It was probably Nothing. He moved away and busied himself checking and tuning up, where needed, the Ships weapons.

Euthalia failed miserably to resist the blush that crossed her cheeks. "No no! You owe me nothing! I'm always happy to help!" she said, waving her hand at that statement.

She couldn’t be serious, could she? She had done so much and was asking for nothing? And was that truly a blush that Jasper saw on her face?

"O-of course! I'd love to go! It sounds very interesting!" She said, her blush still sitting on her cheeks as she smiled at him.

This time Jasper was very glad that she was serious, though he was still a bit surprised. In hindsight, asking someone like Euthalia (who would surely have better things to do) to something as potentially uninteresting as an exhibit in the Lyceum seemed like a lapse of judgment. But she had actually agreed and, even more surprisingly, sounded genuinely excited. And again, Jasper thought that he could make out a blush on her face, though her smile was occupying enough of his thoughts. Things seemed too good to be true, so Jasper thought it best to not jump to any conclusions, despite the fact that he was thoroughly excited.

“Superb! I’m really glad that you’re coming with me. Really. I promise that it’ll be more exciting than it sounds.” This would be the first time he saw Euthalia outside of work. The hours counting down to that evening would certainly pass by ever so slowly. “If you like, you can meet me in front of the Lyceum this evening, and then we’ll go in.” Jasper motioned around his office with his right hand and added, “And you know you can come here any time.”

When everyone was out of the hold Shaun let out a sigh. The gold's not in the hold and one time Johnson's info is wrong and I end up on a pirate ship, and if I heard correctly it's the red sapphire. Do I know anyone on the ship? No I don't. Well it appears I have three options I can try and get off this ship without being seen, that's next to impossible even with my skill. I could try and hide, but that will be difficult for the whole ride. Or I could try and turn myself in and pray they don't kill me. "Uhhhh why did this have to happen to me" he said louder than intended.

Oh crap did someone hear me. Hopefully not. he thought as he got back into an empty box, but before he could close the box a rat tried walking in. "Shoo, shoo go away you stupid rat." he said in a hushed voice as he swatted at the rat.

As they set sail, John waved goodbye to the fisherman, his good friend for quite a while. Once he was out of view, John turned to the fisherman's son. "Alright Ehh.." John realised he didn't know his name. Surely it was both too late, and too awkward to ask now.

The waves started to churn his stomach, he decided to lie down until his sealegs set in

Ryko heard something beneath him, Follwed shortly by the sounds of a frustrated rat. "Wait... theres no one in the hold. Or no ones suppossed to be." Drawing 3 knives in quick succession, he qyietly went down the wellmaintained stairs, soundlessly due to the lack of creaks and his bare feet. He saw the lid of a box close, and smiled. A catch. "You. In the Box- Out. Now, Or i will turn it into a Pincusion."

Alena smiled, humming a tune Ryko had taught her once. As she came to the chorus, She actually began singing aloud, then stopped dead as She heard Ryko saying something to someone. Racing down the stairs, She saw Ryko staring at a box, Brandishing a Knife at ut. "Ryko... Who are you threatening?"

"Then please allow me to be seen next Dr. Jasper."

Christopher stepped into the office with an air of purity surrounding his body. It's aura was plesant other then the smell of blood reaked against his right shoulder. He sat down against the walk and quietly slid down it till he was sitting against the colling wooden floor. It's texture and temperture was soothing against burning skin. Christopher smiled as the cut against his shoulder continued to bleed. His face was slightly flushed yet it was obvious this man was far to bold and determined to die so easily. The Captain of the Star Wind was a very strong man. This cut was of his own doing in a sense. He had a crew member attack him unannouced. This was for the soul purpose of forcing the Physician to see him. Christopher was a very detail-plan orienited man whom enjoy plans within plans within plans, and constantly planned events out ahead of time. This instant he was in need of a doctor on his ship, among other positions to be filled. Currently the most important was Jasper. A Doctor Christopher himself held much interest in. It was also known to him that Jasper didn't hold pirates in high spirits.

So he gambled with this mans morals. Could a Doctor turn down a patient even if that patient was a Pirate. He supposed he would have to find out with his own life.

(PLAMEN) "Ah, but my lovely Alexandra, burning those papers were all part of the chess game I had to play, I burned those papers so that one of two scenarios, it also helped me get to talk to you as a person and not as a face. The first scenario was simple, I burned the papers, you refuse to help me, and I may have saved a couple of my contacts from being busted by you, or this scenario, where we talk and you agree to my purposal, either way it set out and accomplished its goal when I burned those papers, its all just a game of chess, you just have to make your opponent move where you want to, and hope that they don't counter your piece, and I have to say the cat was an excellent pawn in the matter."
(Alexandra) "You say that you have contacts on those papers seems like you might be linked to the whole pirate business. So why do you want to talk to me? To prevent me from taking out your contacts that may ruin your business?"

(PLAMEN) "have you been listening, as I said before, I hate working with the pirates, they are neanderthals, i wish to help you in your jobs, and work together to get rid of this problem with society. Not to mention I realized that some of those papers you grabbed had some information that could lead you to Dead eye's treasure, which we both want, but neither of us can get on our own, not with the pirates in the way, but together I feel we could shake the pirate community down to its core."
