I often meet people from different parts of the world, since I live in a dorm located on the campus of my university. Since I share dorm with foreigners I quite often have to speak english. When I introduce myself for the first time to a new person, even if they don't speak swedish, I almost always pronounce my name with the swedish accent, even if my name is not un-common in for example England or so. I do not really know why I do this ... but I guess it's the old habit of it.

* How do you introduce yourself? Do you pronounce your name in english or in your own language?

How come?

* Also, for all you english speakers out there: do you have anything against when someone pronounce their name in another accent then the english one? Do you take it offensive, or something similar like that?
