I think it depends, a friendship can fade away perhaps... if you grow apart from each other and also no longer have much in common. I can see a friendship lasting for life, and I can see another friendship not lasting for life. I dont know all the reasons but I guess with some people you just click and with others you dont. Oh my god I could go on forever with this ramble im just gonna stop here I really dont know why lol, all I know is that I believe a friendship can fadea way.

Edit2: To you, what is required to become friends with someone? Like, what do you look for in a friendship, what do you expect for it to work?

Someone whose willing, lol I am not really picky with my friends... i'd be anyone's friend. But I am quick to end a friendship if I sense i'm being betrayed or taken for granted.
