Back stories that made you cry

Clannad-fukos made me cry so much when everyone she knows slowly were forgetting about her. It tore my heart apart when sane started crying. Then there was katomies back storie when she loses her pairents on her birthday. In the end it made me cry tears of joy. It was a big tedy bair in the briefcase which showd that her parents caired more about her then the work they were doing. And finally the play nagisa did. She thought that her pairants gave up on there dreams for her but she learned from Akio that there dreams was to watch her do her dream.
Moon phase- hazakeys story of her being trapped in the castel mAde me cry because who wants to be traped in a castle all alone.
Full metal alchemist- als backstory of how he was put in that armor made me cry because Ed had nothing left after trying to bing there mom back so gave his arm for his brother

Angelica (from Gunslinger Girl) had parents that were crappy. Right before her fathers business failed, he took out a life insurance policy on her. Then he proceeded to run her over with his car. Crippling her for life

I don't know clannad. I don't use to cry lol but Full Metal Alchemist is really a sad and heavy story, how Edward and Alphonse treid to ressurect their mother and how did it happen.

Naruto's story is also pretty sad, how everybody put him appart because he was a "monster", the jinchuuriki of Kyuubi, and to see how did he reacted being just a tiny kid

Just got done with Clannad and After Story, and yeah, most of the back stories had me going. Like I said on the Clannad thread, I'm a typical guy, get emotional about moving sports movies or for me also sad or moving animal movies, like Eight Below. And yeah, both these stories had me choking up a lot.

I wouldn't say cry... but Kouta and Lucy's is pretty sad. Also Taro's back story in Ghost Hound is pretty sad (except I have yet to meet one person on this site that has even watched that show -_-)

-Everything in Ano Hana 1# seriously when Menma in the end writes the notes and it's written "i love you in the way i want to marry you" made me cry like a child.
-Yui From Angel Beats is the 2# saddest story i have ever encountered in an anime made me cry.
