Co-GM is the ever wonderful Valkarma!
There’s a legend about a man named Tibais “Dead Eye”. They say he sailed the six seas of Mundus with nothing but a nine man crew. He was a fine-looking gentleman. Only problem was that he had no pupils; all one would see was the whites of his eyes. Legend has it, he sold them to Hades, the ruler of the Underworld, in exchange for an immortal crew. All it cost him was his irises, pupils, and his humanity. Completely oblivious to what this meant, Tibais took the deal. Before, the exchange, he was still a decent human being, but afterwards, every city and town that came into view fell into total chaos. His crew of immortals grew tired of his bloodlust very quickly. All of them were great companions before his madness, but Tibais’ lack of humanity led to many brutal brawls between all him and the nine.
One day, they were completely fed up with their so-called “captain” and beat him until he agreed to ask Hades for his humanity back. The moment they all set foot in Tartarus, Hades was upon them. They demanded Tibais’ deal be reversed, immortality be damned. Hades grinned and “sympathized” with the crew so he reversed it. That same night, as the crew and the old Tibais rejoiced, the ship was sunken by a sea creature so large and horrible, if one were to survive, he or she would surely never sleep again. All nine of Tibais’ crew died, but the captain himself was said to have survive with his immortality intact. His punishment for breaking a contract with Hades, is to forever live with the guilt of having killed the only people he ever cared about, as well as the guilt of being greedy enough to make the contract in the first place. But no one really knows if it’s true, although, that sunken ship was said to have Mundus’ finest treasures on board.
Recent days, the numbers of pirates have been increasing greatly. There are rumors of Dead Eye’s treasure being truth rather than fiction. Some say that they’ve even sighted the immortal himself, though no one can prove that it was him. The legend was a century-old legend. Rumors spread like wild fire and soon, for pure enjoyment, rulers of sea-faring countries set a bounty on Tibais Dead Eye’s head. Who will be the one to prove or disprove the legend, and who will claim the treasure and/or reward if it be true?

She’s hardly lady-like at all aside from her dress and when she seduces men only to rob them blind, or for satisfy her bodily needs, then rob them blind. She’s very optimistic and although brash and sometimes very rude, she really cares for her crew. She doesn’t believe in leaving a crewmate behind. “One plank missing from a sturdy ship could sink the whole *darn* thing!” is what she’ll tell you if you ask her why. She’s always up for a good drink and will sing to anyone who pays. Sticks by the Pirate Code. Doesn’t really care for consequences. She’ll take a beating for the team, hence why they’re truly loyal to her.
History: Sapphira the “Saint” was given her name because she would only target the rich for robbing. She didn’t give to the poor or anything, unless she felt charitable that day. But stealing from the rich was just more fun and worth the time. The poor already have nothing, so you can’t steal something that isn’t there.
Raised on the water, Sapphira was surrounded by men her entire life. Her mother was a roaming Gypsy from Erabyss. When Sapphira was born, she left to continue to wander Mundus She was given her name by her father, who was a somewhat infamous pirate named Salomon Orlandus. Salomon spoiled Sapphira rotten, but she never asked for dresses or jewels. What she was interested in were swords, knives, and daggers. She loved her father regardless of what he gave her. But he and some crew members were killed by a group of rouge Bellums, who hated pirates. What was left of his crew exacted revenge, but Sapphira’s ire could not be relinquished. From that day forth, she swore to herself that no Bellum who crosses her path will escape alive, or at least unscathed. Salomon was the only man she’s ever loved in any way. She’s never been in a romantic relationship.
Out of sight and out of mind, the crew of the Red Sapphire convinced their captain to sail no farther in the Western hemisphere unless they were to go to Erabyss. She agreed reluctantly and stuck to the East. While in Shamaen in Xiekmul, she heard the rumors of Dead Eye come about. Seeing herself as unoccupied by anything else, she sets off with her crew to find either the treasure or the legend, himself.
