What to do if someone betrayed you?

Betrayal? Oh, well I would dislike them. I would't hate them. But that's just horrible for betrayal. It really sucks.

but why decapitate them first? then they won't experience the humiliation. thus, defeating the whole purpose of forced canine-ular intercourse.

what you do is tie them up and force them to get drunk. then you keep forcing alcohol down their throat till you know they are way past their limit and will have to vomit. before they do however, you shut their mouth with duct tape (not just a patch over their lips, but wrap it all around their head so it can't come off and don't cover hi nose).
now they will vomit, but it will have nowhere to go. some will come out of their nose, and some will go back into the stomach, but a lot of it will seep into their lungs. thus slowly killing them. the foreign material will cause them to cough, but it won't actually go anywhere, it'll just run right back in. and it don't matter how drunk he is, he'll know whats going on.

All very interesting methods of dealing with betrayal - though vomit smells more than I like... I would rather slice them up slowly with my trusty knife... Blood and sharp objects are just more satisfying. Maybe some electrocution for a change of method... Throw some salt in the wounds... (I don't care what people say, it hurts...)

But anyway, I try to go by the trusty forgive, but never forget.

Facing the worst possible betrayal by Blizzard for not adding LAN function to their games and going back an era in terms of multiplayer community features I will pay them back by complaining while pre ordering HotS and wasting my life in SC2 like the rest of the SC community.

Unless it's really bad betrayal I probably won't do much apart from distancing myself from said person.

Depends on the person and the betrayed. In the past I've cut ties with some people, punched one or two people in the face, exchanged harsh words, but generally I'll try and work things out, let them know the consequences of doing it again, and just let it go. As bad as it might sound, some people really do need a punch in the face to wake them up to what they've done.

What kind of betrayal are you taking about? There are certain levels of punishment, as there are forms of betrayal.

Agreed. I've met plenty kinds of betrayel in my life; and ALL deserve different kinds of punishments.

1) A betray of trust can never be forgiven. I will never trust this person again with ANYTHING to do with me. I may act friendly with them; but I will also openly talk about how he/she is a dick to their face.

2) A betray of friendship is automatic dismissal from my group of friends. I don't have time in my life to deal with the dramatics of "I'm sorry I said those things" or "I'm sorry I did that", bottom line is that friendship is supposed to feel.... well... friendly. If you send out the opposite vibes, or betray that level of confidence; then I'm sorry; you are the weakest link; goodbye.

3) A full-fledged stab in the back is up for equivalent reaction. Whatever you pull against me for "whatever" reason, will be launched out against you the same fold, or 10x for that matter. The fact of the matter is that I walk around with WAY more arsennal than anyone with a "low level of trust" could even comprehend. I keep my secrets to the grave; unless you pull mine out for humiliation for no apparent reason; then prepare for a war that you cannot win; you sly, slinky bast*rd.
