How in the name of all that gets me out of bed in the mornings did the scourge of ABBA come to be a part of this thread?

ABBA sounds like the product of a deranged mind that wished to combine completely forgettable pop-music compositions with just a hint of disco's bad points. It's a special kind of darkness.

New Year's Eve and Day are really just excuses to drink, party and mumble a few platitudes about how this time, things will be different- usually better. None of that really interests me.

I guess I'll just find some otherwise ordinary way to amuse myself for a little while that night.

I am more than likely just going to spend it alone at my apartment, I am not really the party type. However, I will be watching my Star Trek film collection on blu-ray so it's not like I won't be enjoying my New Years!

But i am planning on going to my boyfriends and spending the holiday with him and his family. We will go anf watch a movie at the church and eat dinner. Then go back to his house and eat more and watch the ball drop. We are also planning on having our first new years kiss<3
