I want to learn to program, anybody want to form groups with me?

I have found that there have been many times that I have come up with ideas for websites and have wanted to implement them. Problem is I don't know how to do diddly when it comes to code. So I want to learn, but is not limited to, the following:

-Html/Xtml/xml
-Flash
-PHP
-MySQL
-Java
-C,C#,C+, C++ (All if necessary, or whichever is necessary)
-Linux
-Unix
-Opensource
-Python

-
-Basically anything and everything.

Check out the Programming Circle in this sub forum. It's been delayed a bit because Eris and all the other people who are organizing it have been busy but hopefully we'll get it started this year. It's only for Python though

Try to learn self. I learn VB.NET http://vb.net-informations.com myself and currently i am studying C# . It is better to depend on online materials. It is free and updated.

Python and PHP are scripting languages, with C/C++, C#, and Java the only programming languages mentioned in your post.

I'd say start with Python, C++ or Java first (pick one). I don't think you should start with python though ... Anyway, these three are widely used (C# is mostly Windows-specific [yeah yeah, Mono] and PHP used more for the web).

I think you should also have a motivating project that keeps you focused. Otherwise, you'll lose interest fast ... the learning process is very boring.

Luckily, once you've learned one language the others are mostly the same and differ only by syntax.

In php and java i`m a newbie so maybe I can offer only opinions not advices

Learn in groups. If you plan to do HTML, do CSS, PHP, and JavaScript along with it. C# and C++ together, as well as Java. Is Linux a language? o.0 You should also check out WebGL. It's pretty darn cool.
