I never understood this show as a child, all I knew was that it really scared me. Especially the King Ramses episode! Yikes...I had nightmares because of him!

But now I realize how many dark hidden themes were put into that show, it really makes you think...and disturbs you a little too. (If youre a softie like me~)

This video is very insightful on just how dark Courage the Cowardly Dog was. Lol, awesome.

Oh I always loved this show!

Oddly enough, I was terrified of EVERYTHING as a child, and I say that quite literally, but this show didn't really scare me. The one with Ramses curse creeped me out slightly, but the show itself never scared me like it seems to do for most people. I still watch it whenever I can. ^.^

I also plan on owning it eventually. One of my absolute favorites! My personal favorites are the one about the quilt club, the queen of the black puddle, and any that include Shirley the little chihuahua gypsy because she's awesome.

This was my show bro. A horror cartoon for kids? I was all over this like flies on poo. I loved it beyond words. And now it's on Netflix. Best thing ever. I like to pretend the Eustice and Muriel are Daphne and Fred. They went mad a long time ago and forgot their pasts because it was too much. Courage is a pup of Scooby's and traveled with Shaggy, Vilma, and Scooby before getting lost. Then he was found and the horrors of the things he saw with Shaggy and Vilma still haunts him.

I'll admit there were better cartoons before it came around, but compared to the rest of the programming that was it's age. It was one of the better ones. It was even better than some cartoons that came before.
