What did you ask for christmas?

Today I asked wether or not I could get a 30 cm by 30 cm drawing tablet, or calligraphy chinese brushes I used during my time when I painted ceramics, I got quite fond of the brushes, their quite rare to find. Also I bought my best friend a card with a fairy on a flower. I am still thinking of sending it a week early so that it gets there during christmas time, takes about a week to fly over to australia from south africa. Also I got a shirt, perfume, bali bell(dream bell) and ray ban sun glasses for early christmas, fortune telling cards. :P

It is true that if your wishing for something, you need to do or get it yourself. But for a family like mine, I wasn't actaully looking for something during christmas, I was happy just how I turned out. And The possibility of people knowing I'm working my best also a roof over my head. But since my dad asked the second time what I wanted, I thought about it, those things don't really cost much. I also jokingly asked for a Jagaur XJR15. A funny story once I mentioned that car, the people thought I was rich. I didn't like people thinking I was rich. becuase lets face it I'm not rich and the poor are happy with whatever they have in their claws and heart.

I'm hoping for some money, so I can spend it in Europe next year when me, mum and my sister go on holiday.

I asked for simple stuff like makeup, maybe a new purse. I'm mainly focusing on getting presents for my family and doggies. Either way I know I wont get much because my birthday is 2 days after Christmas so people give me a small gift and say its for Christmas AND my birthday. Which kinda sucks.

I haven't asked for anything. Although, I got an HD TV from my parents on Black Friday, so that's my Christmas present from them.

One of my friends is probably going to buy me Mario Kart 7.

The rest of what I want is money... For more necessary stuff like clothes.

I didn't really ask for anything for Christmas. However, my parents know what I really want, but sadly, we don't have much money, and what I want is not that easy to find. Call me crazy, but I want an HD CRT TV, or even a standard def, but with component and s-video input. Screw ebay and craigslist, local pickup only. Oh, and maybe a girlfriend too :P

Well as with most Christmases, I don't expect too much, and I'm quite content with what I do have. The only thing I want is a keyboard and/or an mp3 player. However, those can be fairly expensive, and so I really wouldn't have a problem with buying them myself. Actually, I tend to feel guilty when I get something luxurious for Christmas. D: I suppose since I was always fine with receiving simple presents, I become a bit embarrassed when anyone puts a lot of thought and money into something for me. :x Like honestly, if I get anything over $200, I just sort of stare at it like a deer in headlights, lol. @__@

Besides, I always spend Christmas with several sides of my family, and this is usually the only time of the year we see them. So the holiday is always exciting, even if I don't get a lot of snazzy presents. Hell, I even give my dad around $40 so that he can spend it on gas money sometimes. Totally worth it.

I know my parents will never know what to give me for Christmas, so I'm gonna just ask for money from them, saves them the trouble of having to look for a gift and saves me the disappointment of getting a horrible gift~

For Chanukkah, I asked for the New SNSD album The Boys.
I was told no. So I bought it myself.
Then I asked for Tool tickets because they are playing in Tucson.
I was told no.
They are now 300 dollars a ticket.
I told myself no.
