The next season isn't until next year
Still there's always stuff from youtube
Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

Fluttershy makes me puke rainbows... but my favourite has to be Applejack <3
Has to be Twilight Sparkle all the way. Perhaps followed by Rarity, but the order changes a lot.
Also interestingly enough, while the Japanese dub of the cartoon isn't quite enough to make it anime, there is going to be an all-Japan created official manga for the series, which I guess does make it valid for General Anime & Manga posting, scarily enough.

Tis' one of my favorite cartoons, this one. I feel season 3 was a little weak, but the show still isn't bad. My favorite episodes were the last two of season 2. I like the darker more dramatic atmosphere where the enemies seem threatening and the bad guy isn't defeated by the elements of harmony.
My favorite character is Fluttershy. I love it when people are kind and I'm very shy myself.
They have an all human version called Equestria girls coming out.

My favorite pony is Fluttershy (shocking, I know). I just love her personality and voice. Plus it's always funny to see her snap.
My actual personality is more a balance between Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle, but I just go nuts for Fluttershy. *squees*
The horror. The Horror...
TheatricalEdit
My Little Pony Equestria Girls will be distributed to theaters in wide release on June 16th 2013.[13] The following synopsis is given on Cineplex Entertainment's website: "When a crown is stolen from the Crystal Empire, Twilight Sparkle pursues the thief into an alternate world where she transforms into a teenage girl who must survive her biggest challenge yet... high school. With the help of her new friends who remind her of Ponyville's Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy, she embarks upon a quest to find the crown and change the destiny of these two parallel worlds."[14]
TelevisionEdit
The Hub enlists the film for its television debut sometime in Fall 2013.

Lol MLP coming to Japan. Not interested. <_<
Nonon Jakuzure - Best Kill la Kill baePretty damn great! #spoke2soonOta "The Cutest Otaku" 2016 - Lol, how's your account doing lately? Oh wait.
Don't get me wrong, I like the ponies and find the show really interesting. I'm not sure if I feel like watching it in another language though lol. Anime is originally from Japan, so watching it subbed feels natural, but a US show getting Japanese voice actors feels like a waste of time watching. Its the same show, right? If not, maybe.

I'm glad it's coming to Japan so we can stop debating if it's anime or not. It's made in japan, it's in Japanese, there's a manga. The argument is over.

You have a point, but I'm sure the Japanese are glad to have it in Japanese for them rather than English, especially with dealing with certain contexts that may be only local to one English speaking country. You'll still have it in English for yourself here.
But there isn't an argument really. It's written in America and Drawn in Canada. It's just the same show in Japanese instead of English (as far as I can tell). The argument about style is purely silly and null 'n' void because here, we don't care about style other then whether it's good or not. We care about the country of Origin. Animation Styles have been copied since the early days of cartoons prior to animation, and that's practically universal. If it's published/produced, and someone likes it; odds are it will be imitated and duplicated eventually.
Its not made in Japan, or by the Japanese. It has a *comic*, not a manga. Its being translated and dubbed in dozens of countries which doesnt make it: Italian, French, German, Spanish, etc.
The studio owns 3 animation studios: One in Canada and two in the Philippines, where each studio works on a single episode at a time [thus three episodes being made at once], all of which is specified by the writing/design/storyboard/etc team in California.
The comic is done by American artists and writers, ie [again] the Japanese have nothing to do with it.
Its not an anime. Just because it has big anime eyes doesnt mean anything.

It's not an anime because it's not made in Japan. Powerpuff girls was drawn in the style of cute girls with big eyes but it's not an anime now is it? I know the Japanese did adapt an anime version calling it Powerpuff Girls Z but the original was not anime and same goes for My Little Pony Friendship is Magic.
Uh... yes it is. And keep in mind like most Disney series the original MLP was made in Japan. Witchblade, Highlander, Star Wars/Trek, and more are all American shows/comics etc. that have been made into anime and manga.
This was made in America totoally but it still qualifies as anime as far as I am concerned
Then here's this

Are you saying Power Puff Girls is anime o_o? Power Puff Girls Z is anime, but not Power Puff Girls. While we are in the kick of calling anything anime, how about we call Dexter's Lab anime alongside Power Puff Girls? Oh yeah, let us not forget Chowder. Catch my drift yet?

Power Puff Girl Z *is* an anime based on the popular *AMERICAN* show The Power Puff Girls.
Dude, do you not research anything before you post??
PPGs was created by Craig McCracken, who also did shows like Fosters home for Imaginary friends. He -created- it. Hes -not- Japanese.
Hasbro has owned the rights to MLP since the 80s and has made several cartoons on the franchise. This version of MLP [FIM] was created under the supervision of Craig McCracken's wife, Lauren Faust. Again, not Japanese.
And not sure what youre going on about with Disney. Disney either makes their movies in Florida [the last one being Mulan] or in California

Technically Power Puff girls Z is an anime and so is the Supernatural: The Animation, by virtue of being made in Japan. The original Power Puff Girls was made in America along with Megas XLR. Btw I'm pretty sure most of the Disney stuff was made in America. Now the others you've listed are anime yes, but originally based on American things. Thus when talking about the animation it's Japanese Anime, but talking about the franchise in general it's American.
