[Vote Lynch animeyay]
To think I actually believed you. Sorry Scruffs.
[Vote: Lynch AnimeYay]
Oh my, what a shocking chain of unfolding events!! Me gusta!
So I am Mafia according to the lie detector? It must be malfunctioning!
@animeyay Give it up. You're done for.
Oh well, with the lie detector thing, it doesn't seem like I should fight a losing war.
But, a lot could still happen, so I'm sticking around to keep anyone's company should s/he seek some. So people, keep talking!
And I'm still waiting for @Scruffy and his long post, explaining how he even knew that.
I'm waiting to hear Scruffy's explanation as well~
@Ribbon I explained that. We're a bit tight on money and had to give up internet for a few days to keep the power on until my bro got more money in. So I couldn't use a computer, and the browser app I have on my phone kept crashing or closing the pages so I couldn't post. But I have a new app and my net will be back by the weekend.
Whilst the last day phase may have been an overall disappointment for town due to powerful roles modkilling themselves, general inactivity, and overall apathy, it was not without its fair share of leads and provided much content for analysis.
In the last phase, I had a strong belief that RyuTama was town. That said, this begs the question of "Why would you decide to lynch someone you thought was town?" The most common supposition would be that I am mafia lynching town, as it would not make much sense for town to lynch fellow town.
As nonsensical as it may be, the fact is that there is an uncanny individual playing for town by the name of Scruffy. His motivation for lynching a townie was to deduce who would follow his lead, a leadership that was comprised of minimal effort, unnatural behavior, and insufficient pressure, a playstyle not befitting of him. Some had skepticism of him, recognizing his departure from his general modus operandi; others followed his lead without questioning his vote or his actions.
What results were produced from this experimental behavior from him? To begin, it is evident that RyuTama provided a sufficient defense to all points against her, and a large contribution to the game. Points presented against her were largely due to Ribbon, who, while ultimately completely wrong about her affiliation with Miki, attempted to substantiate her vote and played a very pro-active part in the events that occurred yesterday. This merits a town read from me.
Next we have GAZKUL, a truly genuine scummy player even when having not landed mafia. His presence presents a problem: a wise mafia would seek to keep him alive if he were town, as he would make a good scapegoat for them if they ever needed someone to lynch. Yet, if he were mafia, people would not acknowledge his behavior and not treat him as scum, citing his behavior as consistent with prior games and not being able to use this as evidence against him. I would not be opposed to a vigilante killing him, as he is merely impeding town's progression.
Finally, there is Sr. Machinehead. His basis for voting RyuTama was "based off of how much focus they put into protecting themselves off the bat." This is not a valid argument. Town are just as likely to defend themselves as mafia. Furthermore, he later states that his points "are actually just really awesome coincidences with what you stated." He only gave one point, and that was invalid, so it is evident his reasoning has been poor from the very beginning. One questionable thing is present here: if his points had coincided with Ryu's, why is it that he voted her? It is completely illogical and merits him suspicion.
There is another suspect I would like to discuss, namely Sebastian. What I have noticed in her behavior is that she has repeatedly made excuses for her absence, and has stated several times she would read the thread. She has not contributed much to the game at all. Suddenly this phase, she begins pressuring me, an engaged attitude that was not present earlier. She also wanted me to elaborate on how I came to the conclusion that animeyay mafia. This act, the act of wanting someone to divulge specifics of their roles, in addition to inconsistent and non-contributory attitudes, merit suspicion from me.
Lastly, animeyay gave off a very different vibe this game, so I noted him as a person of interest. Sure enough, I was correct in my beliefs of him. It was an utter waste to use the lie detector in my opinion, but at least town can be assured. ZombieWolf also has given me a very different attitude this game from when normally town, and they too wanted me to provide "proof," so I believe they are of interest as well.
I will elaborate on some points and begin pressuring at a later time. I do not have time to do so now. On the issue of my role: let the mafia deduce what I can do.
I kinda wanna comment on that long post, but not right now, as it's my bed time lol
Don't worry, though, I'll be back tomorrow!
@Scruffy What vibe is that? I asked for proof because it's strange to just randomly confirm someone as mafia. I'm also trying to interrogate more. Looking back on previous games, I was almost always right about wolves but never had the evidence to please the town, so I'm working on my skills so that I can have the proper evidence.
one last thing: I hope you people are gonna keep talking!
I don't want to come back tomorrow and see no newer development
There's not much for me to say, although that your pretty sharp. I don't think it was worth getting two important townies killed though. In anycase, we shall see if animeyay is actually mafia by the end of this phase. For now, we should investigate others.
As for the subject of my "excuses," Kaitou knows why I couldn't be active the first day phase, and it was more important that wolf. If the issue didn't come up I would have been active.
"She also wanted me to elaborate on how I came to the conclusion that animeyay mafia. This act, the act of wanting someone to divulge specifics of their roles, in addition to inconsistent and non-contributory attitudes, merit suspicion from me."
I had asked BEFORE you explained why you couldn't say. I don't want you to reveal any roles now that I know why you couldn't explain.
