So, anyone actually wait in line for any sales on this Black Friday? Even if you didn't, did you at least manage to snatch any good deals? Perhaps you did some Christmas shopping as well lol.

Well, we didn't go to the mall at midnight to wait in line for any really cheap items. However, my mom and I did go around noon and it was her that bought a fair amount of clothes (me being the pack mule of course). I wanted to get a tv, and there were some left at a good price, but meh, I didn't have the money. The mall was pretty damn crowded, but at least people were respectful to each other for the most part.

Nope, stayed home and slept in.

I may check out the online deals on monday, though.

My dad waited out in line at Best Buy pretty much all day yesterday. He's not too bothered by doing that for some reason. He ended up getting my mom the Sharp 42 inch 1080 TV for my mom and the Dynex 24 inch 1080 TV for me.

He was the very last in line that got the Sharp TV. =P

It's really the same fundamental concept. You spend as little money as possible. There's just two words so that people can approve or disapprove of the exact same action.

Frugal is shopping around to find the best buy on a top of the line TV for example. Cheep is buying the first cruddy TV you see at Walmart...

Looking for a good deal on a top of the line and not looking for a good deal on a bottom of the line are both not frugal/cheap. Frugal/cheap is looking for a great deal on the bottom of the line, and other wise not buying it at all.

Nope. All i bought were new outer tie rod ends for my car. I don't bother with Black Friday since people always get shot, stabbed, or beaten up/robbed for their stuff around here. I shop after Christmas.
