In the black, I sat and wait.
I was sure i would never leave,
Never to feel, never to see.
But then she came in a dress of white,
Her smile illuminating my endless night.
She took my hand, and pulled me up.
She pulled me out of my own grave.

She kept my hand, within her own.
And showed me things, I'd never known.
But then it came, that fateful day,
When she let me go, and went astray.
She left me alone, scared, and broken,
and kept my heart as a token.
As nothing more then an empty shell,
I returned to my grave, my synthetic Hell...
