aww, you could try making it. My first signature was not impressive but somehow I manage to improve with the help of everyone around.
You could ask around for tips, try making one and ask for advice. I'd love to give you one XD

first one has potential IMO, don't know about the text though. I think a color version (over than blue, maybe 2-3 toned) for that one would be interesting.
Second one, the big yellowish border IMO is unneccessary. What would be good for this one is that the left side is consistent with the right side so as to make it flow.

There's tons of ways to do effects not only by brushes. There's resource pack and renders not only a person render but also miscellaneous render.
It's quite fun once you get used to them. Well, good luck on your practice then ^_^

I tend to do my own renders.. so sometimes they aren't so good at quality (unless I take my time that is.. )

A suggestion would be like a purple gradient with a black stroke or drop shadow. But as far as everything else goes, superb sig! Love everything going on in the background!
