Any good FPS players? (COD/BF)

I am a pretty hardcore gamer in FPS, just want to find some good players and play together rather than playing with noobs. BTW my signature skill is fast sniping...(or whatever you call it)

Prefer FPSes from the 90's. Can't really stand games like CoD. Just seems boring in comparison.

Try something like Unreal Tournament. Anything before the 2004 Edition. Ideally you'd want six to eight players.

I play BF3 right now. CoD is too much of a 1 man show for me and I enjoy the teamwork with my friends. Name is iLLyNada. Same thing for a Steam tag if you want to play CS:CZ or 1.6

The thing is I only wanted to play rather casually, not competitively, because I am sort of busy and can only take playing games as relaxing, not a "career" anymore.

Lol, that is casual for those types of FPSes. You just need enough people to keep the action going.

I normally would be playing CoD:BO but I maxed out there and working on Battlefield 3 until MW3 comes out.

I will be playing MW3 when it is out and I bought BF3 after ages of waiting and looking so forward to it.
I won't be playing battlefield3 though-the servers suck donkey at the moment and the game lacks the tactical edge it used to have-It feels like an online game from around the 06/07 era to me, just a lot of OP tanks and RPG noobs.

Also like you I am a sniper-not a quick-scoper-just a traditional sniper and the SR in this has no environmental effects or considerable recoil so its not fun/challenging.

Look for me on steam as "channelcg"- I play CoD:MW3 when it comes out-Everything else I play are RTS/MMO.

I agree that there are many tank and rpg noobs but that's why I love playing the infantry only mode from BF2, BFBC2. Also waiting for COD to come out

I loved BF:BC2 and I found it to be very well balanced but BR3 just lacks the feel of a Battlefield game for me.

I'm awful at FPS multi-players. The only ones I'm good at are the ones in Star Wars Jedi Outcast and Crysis

Did play a bit on Crysis 2, but it just feels exactly the same as COD, except you have nanosuit.

For a while I used to play bioshock 2 online. Not very many "noobs" and campers on that game.

The first Crysis has a different multi-player to the second one. The first one for the most part has objective based multiplayer

COD:BO is what I'm playing currently. Seen some good players occasionally, but mostly "spammers" as in they don't even aim down the sight in mid-range and luckily killed me, when I was barely killed, like 20kills 3 death, and one of those 3 are that kind of death. In comparison, when playing BF, the map is so big that spamming is never possible (except close range), but as a sniper I really love the size of maps in BF so that I can "hunt" them in long range without being noticed. Personally I would play BF3 rather than MW3.

You can still see people do "run n gun", and the maps are still small, not much difference from COD
