can't remember anime name

I am trying to recall the name of this anime I used to watch. It was about these two girls that were trying to find these artifacts that could grant wishs. One of the girls had a curse on her that turned her into a rat anytime she used magic, the other one had a tail and used spirits to perform magic. This show is kinda old, I first watch on a vcr tape. Does anyone know what it is called.
