Basically list music that gets you emotional in any one. I can only think of one at the moment and it's Paradise by Yuki. It always seems to get me sad for some reason.

Last Kiss - Pearl Jam
This song makes me sad every time I hear it but it's a great song.
I can't say it makes me emotional as in (oh noes I wanna cry T_T) emotional, but anything from Blind Guardian makes me feel alive and inspired.
No power in the 'verse can stop me...
Flavor Of Life by Utada Hikaru. At least that's what gets me all emotional for this day. For different occasions and different circumstances, of course different songs make me emotional. Even a birthday song can be emotional for me, if that special day has been made even more special.

Sadness
I can never listen to the Titanic theme or the song from Dumbo without crying my eyes out! That I cry so much to the Titanic song isn't that surprising since that movie is so emotional so you can't help but to think about when you listen to that song. The Dumbo song... well maybe it isn't the song so much but more the scene in general that makes me so sad. When you hear a song that makes you think about a certain scene in a movie, you just can't help yourself but falling into tears. Even since I was a kid and watched it for the first time, I have always found that song / scene so sad.
Or how about that song clip from The Lion King when Mufasa dies? 04.00 and forward in this clip.
That music also makes me think of that one scene... God how emotional!
Also I always becomes sad when listening to the song "someone is waiting for you" from the movie The Rescuers.
That song is just so beautiful.
Is it even possible for someone who has watched the movie Titanic to not cry to this one song?
I doubt is even humanly possible... o.O *sobs sobs*
This song is so beautiful! Don't you guys agree with me?

How come the songs I have choosed mostly is songs from old cartoons for children?
All the emotinal feelings that I had back then still afflict me to this very day. Phhew *cries*.

A lot of music tends to inspire me when I read or write. Nothing like a track that can strike an emotional chord with you. Here's a few of my "off the top of my head" favourites.
Heard "Reflection Eternal" about 2 winters ago during one of my all night music ventures. This track in particular brings the vivid imagery of a late night city scape, bright lights dotting the sky. For some reason I'm...spinning. Everything's a blur. It's wonderful. Nujabes never ceases to amaze and send chills down my spine.
AKFG was bound to make this list for me. Their music is so deceptively simple at times...and Goto's vocals are this mixture of mellow, powerful and almost pleading in this song. It's hard to describe, but it's such a great track walking outside on an Autumn day.
Yep. Ellegarden. I really do challenge a J-Rock fan to listen to these guys and not feel like a rebellious teenager all over again. This track in particular has really simple, head bobbing type lyrics. Pokes fun at a guy that just can't seem to catch a break. It always makes me feel...hopeful? Takeshi has one catchy voice.
And I'll end it here with one of those dream-like tracks I can think of off the top of my head. Lightning gave me goosebumps the first time I heard it and just sends me into this state of hypnosis. Atsushi's pining for a girl like most bands are, but he doesn't sound desperate. Just...longing and maybe a bit lonely. I can relate to that feeling.
I love chill out music.

Any of the music from the Titanic movie sets me off and it gets me really emotional some of the time.

I have to agree with SuXrys; there are definitely a lot of kids movies out there that still make me emotional. When I posted my first song (Sayonara) I didn't even think about some of the Disney songs that I grew up with that always put me on the verge of tears. I came across this one a few days ago (I haven't seen Hunchback of Notre Dame in ages... now I really want to T~T ), "God Help the Outcasts".
HSP - The Endless Love (featuring Miku Hatsune)

so its a trap? i falled in ^^
All music gets me emotional; it depends on what kind of emotion you're talking about.
If I want adrenaline during a work-out, I'll usually listen to Screamo or Irish Folk Music.
If I'm angry, I'll listen to something like Hatebreed or Slipknot
If I'm focused and really want to work hard on something, I'll listen to classical like Nobuo Uematsu's stuff, or I'll even play something of Nas or Eminem (songs about how they overcame struggle).
If I'm sad or in a romantic mood, I'll listen to something like Seal.
I'm not sure really...there's many ways to answer this question.

Dango Daikazoku because it reminds me of Clannad. I loved that show so much (cried) so this song brings me back to it.
