Do You Think It's Irritating For Someone To Call You Short ?

Hey guys... I'm not really short myself, I mean comparing to my friends. But I really hate it when my mum says I'm short. :/ What 'bout you guys ?

Well not really, im 165 cm, 5'4 feet, and my family use to joke about me being so short.

But they are only joking so I don't care so much about that, but I have to admit that if they joke about it to much on a single day I can really become annoyed. But then it's mostly because Im tired of those jokes and thus don't want to hear them anymore - not because I have anything against that joke in general.

What I feel? Well, I think that you will still grow a little.

For me, the race is over. From now on it will only go downhill when it comes to the height... I can't even walk in heels properly.

Well since I turn 20 in about 5 months and I'm not 5ft.

I was 17 or 18 at the time.. So just a year or two ago.

I've been the shortest in my group of friends/shortest in my entire graduating class etc.

Back when I drove a truck and not a car I had to drive to school with a pillow behind my back because there was about a foot long gap between my back and the seat and it scared my mom. Even when I drove my mustang at the dragstip I had to have a pillow behind me even after modifying the seat to sit up more [the mustang has bucket seats] it still wasn't enough modification alone. I climb on kitchen counters and have to step on the freezer door at the grocery store to fully reach the milk etc.

I make phonebook jokes and laugh if someone tells me about that 4ft booster seat while in a car thing etc. I enjoy being small so I'm always able to do all the jokes and have fun.

Haha... I'm not pro, and I'm still learning. So I don't really know. But I'm not surprised. All my seniors are great basketball players, even if they're short. I'm really envious of people who are good in sports. :/

I'm a little man, being only 5'8''. However, people don't call me short. I wouldn't mind if they did, because I am short. But hey, think of it this way... it's harder for a taller person to get back up each time you knock them down. That's if you can :P

6'3". Instead of people calling me short, I have to deal with feeling squashed in the driver's seat of most cars, even with the seat fully back and the steering wheel fully up.
When I tried to drive a Hyundai Getz, video footage of it may have won Funniest Home Videos.

If I lose too much weight I look weird as I'm broad shouldered as well, and that I've copped crap for.

Nope. I kind of like being small...a lot of my favorite actors and singers are so that makes me feel special XD we might even be the same size.
Someone once told me that if I was a cheerleader I would be the one that they lift up and catch. I though that was totally awesome :]

I suppose I used to get irritated years ago but I was shorter then, these days I'm the one calling my friends short. I love being the tall guy within my social norm ^^
