What is your Favorite anime movie and why???
Hmm... Probably one of the Pokemon movies, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Eden of the East: Paradise Lost. Idk, I don't really watch a lot of anime movies =X
My favorite movie is Howl's Moving Castle. Mostly is because I think it's so beautifuly animated.
If you havn't watched it yet, you really should do that. The trailer for Howl's Castle is inside the spoiler tag, for the ones who are interested.

I LOVE Spirited Away! XD I watched it over 15 time over the course of the last 3 months of school. XD But I love the art, the story, and all the characters. I also love how quickly the movie gets to the story and doesn't have a lot of useless filler. XD Paprika or Tekonkinkreet are also pretty great.
Princess Mononoke.. Great story, art, setting... Though I love all ghibli movies.

I haven't watched too many anime movies, however, some of the Pokemon movies and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time were good. 4Kids for Pokemon and Original Japanese for TGWLTT.
The Sky Crawlers- Beautiful visuals, haunting music and an interesting and gripping story-line plus a distinctly 1940's feel to it.
I would have to say Appleseed and Akia (I think they both are before most of you guys' time)
Urrgh! There are so many movies I havn't watched yet! No why havn't I watched the ones you are mentioning before? Like Appleseed and Akia, The Sky Crawlers, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Afro Samurai or Metropolis.
Well, let's just say I now know what I will kill off time with, when I'll got time for it.
Keep posting, I need more movie titles to watch!
Patlabor 2: The Movie is my all-time favorite, thematically and aesthetically, followed by Urusei Yatsura: Beautiful Dreamer.

Pokemon movies, Naruto Movies, Bleach movies, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, and Tales from Earthsea.
It isn't a movie, but a cute little OVA called Kowarekake no Orgel. I couldn't help but mention it, as it is comparable to Chobits in the cute department, and the fact that Flower won me over instantly.
How can you not love her? She's adorable!:
Also, Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu was cool. Nice narration as usual by Kyon
Princess Mononoke is my top followed by the first Pokemon movie. >.>
Yeah you guys mention a lot of awesome movies!
I can't really decide, so I'll just pick the best one I've seen recently.
"Air" movie by Key studio. It also has a series, but actually this time I preferred the movie. The movie is a little more happy, even though it's still sad..
If you've seen the Clannad series, it very similar (same studio). Also if you liked Clannad, you should like Air.
My favorite anime movie is Cardcaptor Sakura: The Sealed Card ^_^

The Place Promised in Our Early Days
I found this movie incredibly deep and moving. It captures the mind and you yourself will fall in love with it, the soundtrack and the beautiful animation style in particular had me in awe. I have never regretted buying this movie =)
Fate / stay night. It was originally a very good anime and the movie talks about the other route from the original game. The graphic is so good that my computer was lagging, and the storyline is also pretty good.
The Kara no Kyoukai movies. Amazing visuals and awesome fights
I grew up with the Ghibli films like Totoro. I also love Spirited Away and Howl. ^^ The first 2 Pokemon movies were awesome but it sorta died from there, imo... I remember really liking Akira (even though I was only like 10 years old OTL), and so I'll probably have to watch it again sometime soon to refresh my memory. I've heard a lot of good things about The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Afro Samurai, so I'll hopefully watch those eventually too. :3
The first few pokemon movies of course:3 i loved the little short hings at the beginning of each movie. They were always so cute!!! Besides those I would have to say FfIIV Advent Children is also up there because.I am in love with FF. Also Castle in the sky is one of my favorites. Its the one I remember loving most as a kid but the one I didnt see very much compared to Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke.
