My favourites are the Dreamcast and PS2. Dreamcast because while I didn't play many games for it, most of the ones I had were amazing. PS2 because of it's big library of great games

Right now its the PS3 though I hold a special place for the Sega Genesis (I think its the same as Sega Mega Drive III) since it was the first console I ever owned.

First place goes to N64, just because it's the only large console I own. Also because the epic Pokemon Stadium is on it, the epic Legend of Zelda: Oricana of Time and the epic, epic Super Smash Bros.~

Can I ask why you didn't include the handheld consoles? PSP, GB, GBC, GBA, DS, 3DS.. etc

I haven't had much exposure to the current gen of systems (360, PS3, Wii) but that doesn't matter. The only system that's managed to hold my unwavering love these past 10+ years is the Gameboy Advance. Golden Sun, Advance Wars, Fire Emblem, typical plethora of Pokemon games, Mario Kart...I'm still guilty of emulating these on a rainy day. Such a great system. And backwards compatibility with GBC is one of the reasons why I have like 700 hours logged in my Pokemon Silver. Ahem >_>;;

From list, SNES, if including emulation capabilities, PSP.
My favourite console is actually my Xperia Play though - it cam emulate everything up to N64 for home consoles, and GBA for portables.
On top of that it has a control pad that slides out with buttons and dual analog which works with both emulated games and optimised games from the Android store, some of which easily have better then PS2 graphics.

I dump my own roms and have noticed to my mirth, that some of my dumps work where illegal roms don't (e.g. my PAL Super Mario All Stars + World) Rom works perfectly where the ones my mates have downloaded has a glitched title screen.

PSP, is very under rated. You can do so much with a PSP

I'm surprised no one has said the original PlayStaion.
Games like Silent Hill, Final Fantasy VII, Resident Evil...etc.

Nintendo Gamecube. Nintendo at their very best (Although the last couple of years for the N64 were also amazing). Such a shame that when the Wii came out they lost their spark and the games were no longer all of that fun for the most part (The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess is the last console game they have released that I have no major complaints about).

The 3DS looks like a portable GCN, so I hope it can live up to the console it's relative to. If only they'd get some games out that aren't just remastered ports.
