Anime or Manga?

I personally like the Manga because it gets straight to the point.

Im sure there have been 1000's of these threads. But nevertheless.... I agree, I prefer manga, its quicker and to the point. And you dont get pointless filler like anime.. Its the original, unedited source.

Manga. Kind of my general take on the matter, but it applies to Bleach just the same.

No fillers, no distortions, no cop-out endings, better artwork, and much more consistency. That, and I just don't have the time to sit down and watch full blown series any longer. manga is much easier to bookmark and enjoy in quick immersing bouts without feeling like I have to devote hours to get comfortable. I find juggling multiple manga is a lot easier than anime as well. I'll look up an anime if there's a scene I think would be done justice animated once in a while, but most manga leave me very satisfied.

Holy hell was that Bount arc awful. The replacement Captain thing was lame too.

Oh, and coming from a Canadian, bandwidth limits aren't what they used to be. Bleh.

I'm divided on this one. Although I prefer the manga for its relative straight to the point story (compared to the anime - Kubo still dragged a feel fights and conversations as there were a lot of chapters full of useless, forgettable dialogue).
I love the anime's art though. This is my bias speaking but I like to watch the manga fights on anime as they always seem to be more epic (when you skip the dragged out moments)

I didnt watch the anime since the beginning of the Hueco Mundo arc.
The manga covers pretty much everything and I usually hate fillers.

That said, I will see the latest anime eps when I get enought time on my hands. xD I love the voice acting.

I myself love anime - dubbed (given the dubbing is not completely terrible)
Although i do love manga, i can never find an manga that i can really get in to, only a rare few which were animes to start with

I like manga slightly better. It's the original, not much fillers. It always ends the story unlike anime. Plus when it gets gory or more adult themed, no censors.

i perfer anime a bit better than manga....since i think anime can express scenes better and more detailed than manga...i also think anime can pass the character's feeling to the audiences better since anime characters are more lively...but manga can explain the story better and you can get some personal thoughts about the story when reading manga so i think they have different advantages.

I'd have to say manga it gets staright to the point, no filler. It's good if you want to finish a anime in shorter time compared to the anime. The anime is good too, i am not a big fan of dubbing though, and usually the subbing is way off, or off by a bit , but enough to alter what they actually said. Anime also shows action scenes alot better though, because in manga its usally just some frames with actions . It's personal taste.

had just start reading manga so I vote for anime.. its good till animes and mangas are not too long like bleach go 511 chapters something... I dont wanna read it on ma pc...,I will also did'nt watch bleach if it was'nt on TV.. that much episods on net, are you kidding... I cannot do this..!!
If I'll have manga book then I can read all.!! I like reading manga..!!

Manga is much better- it's always so hard for me to find an anime online to watch. You can just go to the bookstore and buy manga.

Well it depends. I prefer to watch anime because you can see all the movements and actions, also I love anime theme songs. Now if the anime finishes or it falls behind the manga, I usually start reading the manga.

I love both anime and manga equally the same, but if I have to pick one, I'll say I like anime better. I finish anime quicker, and manga takes me forever to read DX

i finish anime in about a week if its twelve episodes, but i read manga in about half an hour.
i find anime to be a bit more interesting, because with the added voices and emotion(if the voice actors are good) then its more interesting, but thats a big if. so, right now, undecided.

manga is great for the story; and anime is great for watching epic battles especialy if they have cool powers

I really do like the anime but i cant stand the filler but if you over look said filler then its better then the manga because of the epic fights and voice actors

I prefer watching anime over reading manga because I find it more enjoyable to watch but if I really like a certain anime then I will read the manga of it as well.
