Dead or Alive 5

So in 2012 the newest title in the doa series will be returning! Dead or Alive 5 looks much better then doa 4 which was alright but doa 3 was way better IMHO.....way better then part 4... I'm not even going to mention DOA dimensions. (fail) ahem...anyway the video...

If you read the reviews it seems like the levels in part 5 will be more interactive with moving objects such as the crane in the video.....allowing you to do some amazing moves on your opponent. Can't wait to get my hands on this...

Also Itagaki had no idea they announced a new title for the series.....Itagaki was once the head of Team Ninja...

Looks real cool. The effect when you punch or kick someone does look stupid though

I thought the online players were pretty tough....Maybe I always got matched up with vets or maybe it was my sucky internet connection, I"ll admit I sucked at online play but I blame the controls....they and I mean Team Ninja went and changed the control scheme in DOA4 from DOA3. I just hope the controls are fixed in this one.

Depends who you faught lol. The S ranked players were exremely well balanced in skill, though most B+ and under ranked players I found rather simple. Maybe we can battle sometime? I'm getting gold membership back next week and I'm pro Ayane!

I'm a big fan of DOA and I had no idea that they are coming out with a 5th one. I'm excited to buy it. Thanks for posting this thread. My favorite characters I use are Kasumi and Ayane. ^^
