@SuXrys
Unless you know how to "ignore" bad odor, I don't know how is that possible.
... why not? ;D
If now people smell that bad [I have no idea... never been to an event], and I really really want to go: then why not having a noseclip with you just in case? ... or maybe some deodorant that you can spray on people?
Or, maybe you can just go circles around the ones that smelles to much, I guess that is the easiest way to handle problem.
- Is it that many that has those old, sweaty, costumes on them? :X

Season four of Sherlock

Season five of Game of Thrones
New episodes of Downton Abbey
Nah.. It's a whole room child.. I went to an event once.. They managed to fog up the glass from so much body sweat... HOW DO YOU SWEAT FROM SITTING AND DOING NOTHING?! And I'd just stand a few feet by the door because the stench was too horrid to enter the room. Every so often they had to stop everything, clear the room and fan/frebreeze that place. I was mortified being the young highschool freshman I was at the time..
I'm telling you anime fans in general are friggin' disgusting. You learn this from anime cons when you work them. May not notice it from the outside looking in.. But on the inside looking out homg.

D: That's definitely.... uh interesting to say the least.
I feel so sorry for you ;~;
And like @SuXrys said, I'm also scared to go to cons now
You see... now that's pathetic for those people that actually do that.
But a teenager whom is obessing over anime, similarly to those who are obessed with Justin Beiber... it's just a darn phase. Let them squeal and do whatever they please, as long as they aren't hurting anybody. :l
@Kaitou+ - Not only weeeeaboos have bad hygiene. I've seen many kinds of people who need a lesson or two in cleanliness.
Also... I've never had a bad experience with the con, here in Quebec. In fact... I got to meet this really attractive blonde. ~ ;D Maybe it's just America. Lol.
@Ribbon But almost if not all weaboos have bad hygiene.
I've heard of the term, but I've never been called it, and never really seen anyone called it. I've never met one either. To me it's like taking the liking too far? Like when anime encompasses more of your life than say, work, hygiene, etc, than it's sad. :<

@Kaitou+ - Like I said... maybe it's just America? Honestly... I've been to the anime con over her, for three years straight. I didn't get one single bad odor in my nose~ n_n~
@Ribbon
Canadians have better hygiene? :argh
@Kaitou+ - I guess so. :$ Lol..
@Ribbon
How can you guys have more hygiene when you're surrounded by bacon and ham?
/sarcasm
Wait, I didn't notice any hygiene problem at the con I've been attending for the past 4 years, and there were 30,000+ attendees each year. :x My friends and I, being the mean bunch that we were, were making fun of bad costumes, of course, but nothing smelly/gross-looking/puke-inducing.
@animeyay are you talking about otakon?
@Ribbon you are confusing a mass collection of anime fans with weaa's.. Dear gosh just give up if you don't understand. Maybe Canadians do not have as many of them? But in america they come by the thousands
Fat wannabee japanese since they feel so miserable about their life and eat MCD's while watching luckystar >__> Ugh... They taint our world...
