I watched the whole series of Karin and I thought it was cute. I enjoyed it but what kind of romance anime are you looking for? If you like cute romance anime I would definately recommend Karin. Don't know if guys would like this anime or not though *lol*

Marmalade boy, boys over flowers, and kodocha are good animes with romance and comedy in them

Ouran High School Host Club is a good one to try and it's dub is really impressive![]()

Wow, this thread isn't actually that old (well, one month isn't that bad, I think). I'll have to see whether anyone actually interested in this topic will still reply, but I'll give it a shot regardless.
Reading through this, it looks like the OP is looking for the exact same kind of anime I enjoy the most. I can't stand watching subtitled anime, so any non-dubbed series is pretty much out of question for me (except if it's something like a subtitled OVA to a dubbed series that I've watched and thoroughly enjoyed).
Again, I don't know if you're still following this thread, but if you are, I've got one no-brainer recommendation which hasn't been mentioned yet. Ai Yori Aoshi is, in regards to pure romance, my absolutely undisputed number one choice. I've started re-watching it just the other day and am still enjoying it just as much as the first time. Be warned though that there's quite a bit of cliché in it, and you'll likely experience a lot of facepalm moments at the characters' behavior and dialog. But the series makes it all worth it by developing a beautifully adorned romantic relationship.
As for other suggestions... Well, probably my overall most beloved anime is Kanon. It's by the same studio as Clannad, so there's a good chance you might have watched it already. If you haven't - it banks on the drama genre features much more than Clannad does. The romance in it isn't really that explicit for most of the series (unlike Clannad After Story), but it's there.
Also, I've got to back up Xian Jaguar above me regarding Shuffle!. Beautiful and funny series with an extremely unexpected (and brilliant) shift in storyline and mood towards the end. It's harem-style (like most of the animes we're discussing here, I guess), and there are some romantic moments sprinkled throughout, but also a very serious relationship at the end.
And then we're got School Rumble which hasn't been mentioned yet. Although I've got to admit that it doesn't measure too high on the romance-meter, it's got to be the funniest anime I've seen to date. It was constantly cracking me up, and even though it's been a couple of years since I watched it (definitely have to give it a second go in the near future), I'm pretty sure I cried a couple of tears of laughter, too. Romance is hardly the focus, though; it's more like a hilariously awesome comedy anime with some romantic moments sprinkled on top for good measure.
Those are probably my top 4 anime series. I've got a couple more (a lot, actually), but it doesn't really make sense to start writing novels (which I guess I already did to some degree) if no one's going to read it :P. So I'll wait for some kind of feedback before making additional suggestions.
Edit: Hey, it looks like a mod was able to recover my original post which I already though lost. Thanks a ton, I always hate it when all the work I put into an elaborate post and then it just decides to evaporate on me.

One of the most romantic english dubs i've seen has got to be Romeo x Juliet. I watched it and fell in love. I was impressed with the voice acting and the plot was amazing. You can't have a good romance with out a good twist. Truly one great anime for the romantic at heart. and good luck even finding Boys Over Flowers. the only way i found it was through the library. But I loved every minute of it. If I could find it anywhere online, I'd bye it instantly.![]()

Spice and wolf yo.

Vampire Knight/ Vampire Knight Guilty
Kamichama Karin
Karin Chibi Vampire
Kaze no Stigma
Zero no tuskaima (not sure if it's dubbed)

Eureka Seven is a whole slew of genres, but I put it up there as being as good as Full Metal Alchemist storyline wise and as romantic as Rumbling hearts or Suzuka. It is also one of the only animes I can say i prefer english dubbed over being subbed.

idk if baka and test counts but it is kinda!
