Fall Anime 2011

Well, fall is almost here and that means new shows! Here's what's coming up this season.

 

I for one, am excited about the Infinite Stratos OVA and the Baka and Test Special.

Better than this last season, but still not great.

Highly looking forward to Fate/Zero, seeing as the novel has never been translated into English. From the trailer that was shown at C80 it looks as though they're using the same styles of animation and colorization that were used in the seven Kara no Kyoukai films.

Gundam Unicorn: At the Bottom of the Gravity Well (OVA 4) goes without saying. This series is like the anime event of the decade.

Last Exile: Ginyoku no Fam. A sequel to a classic title? Absolutely.

Mirai Nikki. Is this going to be the same as the manga? Of course not - you can't get away with some of that on tv. But the most horrific yandere ever being animated? That's worth watching. There's not enough tragedy series that get animated.

Lupin III. It's Lupin III.

Also looking for work to Mirai Nikki, seems like an interesting story though not familiar with the manga.

Also, I'm only happy because of Shakugan No Shana III. I'll see about the rest.

I dunno, Un-Go and Tayamura (I think that's what it's called?) look alright... but I'm not super excited about any of them D:. Except maybe the Ah! My Goddess OVA.

Uhhh, too many shows that rely heavily on fan service...
I guess I'll at least give Gundam AGE a try, hoping that it wouldn't turn out to kiddish.
WORKING'!! is a must-watch for me, as I loved the first season!
Kimi to Boku seems like promising slice-of-life show, so maybe that.
'Course, can't forget Persona 4~

I can't wait to watch the new Hunter x Hunter animation, also can't wait for the anime to get to the Ant Arc. Lots of great fights in that Arc.

Slightly better lineup compare to previous seasons but still meh overall. Here are some that I'm looking forward to:

The 4th installment of Gundam Unicorn ~ The battle had been drag down to Earth and the plot thickens.
Guilty Crown ~ Art by redjuice. Let see if the story goes as good as its art.
Shana III ~ Because I can, duh :3
Fate/Zero ~ Prequel to Fate/stay night. Must see.

Titles under 3 strike policy:
Gundam AGE ~ From the trailer it's look like Gundam - Digimon crossover or something. I hope there some deep and darker substance beneath the kiddy image since it uses "Gundam" in the title.
Ben-To ~ It looks like fun to me...
Phi Brain ~ Another "it looks like fun to me" title

I'll also watch Hunter x Hunter though I only seen the first episode of the old anime

I should probably get around to reading Future Diary actually. And woohoo, Working!! Been waiting for this series. I'll inevitably end up watching Bakuman as well, even though I hate the anime adaptation. And a new Seitokai Yakuindomo OVA! There are other things I sorta care about but I probably won't watch most/any of them.

-Maje de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai!!
-Hunter x Hunter, since I haven't seen the old one. This is a good opportunity.

I have not read the manga of these yet,because I could not find them. Only one I found was Coppelion, and I still have yet to start it.
