It depends. What are you interested in? Are you planning on being into the entire series?


If you want to start the entire thing, start with the original and work your way through the timeline. If you just want to see what the big deal is, the better Gundam series are: Unicorn, Zeta (especially A New Translation), 0083, and 08th MS Team.

Start where it all began, Mobile Suit Gundam, the original. But in my option, stay with the Universal Century series, with an exception to the Gundam Wing series.

Wing, After War, and 00 are all quality series worth starting off with too.
